i’m not even half way through ep.2 and it’s already peeving me off. have these writers ever been in a misfit class or did they just think it was a cool plot point? feel like they’ve never been there, because this is absolutely not how it goes. and those two teachers are just irritating, i wouldn’t respect either of their methods, and their characters seem unnecessary from the beginning. maybe it gets better, but honestly, it’s grating to see such weak characterisation. you are dealing with pupils who are already so fed up with authority figures and you think you can come in and be domineering and intimidating? it’s pathetic… giving them the choice to leave class without consequence, when they wouldn’t have come in the first place… it’s giving these teachers too much understanding and control over the pupil’s ideas. do they not think the pupils would have retaliated over the teacher assuming what they wanted? school is a place to get away from situations for a lot of people, everything is happening too easily and too quickly. maybe this is just a unique school.
also, what’s with the overuse of 'used to be bad student, now great teacher' character? it can happen, but most of the time, these good teachers end up being mentors with very little power, they just have trust and understanding. it’s too convenient. and if he was brought in because he can apparently understand these pupils, why on earth would he come in and be the way he is? he doesn’t understand them already. what a unique school. but i’m only on ep.2, so i’m judging too early anyway.
anyone mind explaining how tlefirstone got together, I like them in khemjira so I watched dmd friendship, did…
i read somewhere, so i don't know if it is correct, that they spent a lot of time together after the show and when they went to phuket, firstone asked tle to pair up.
