Basically he met Yeo Ri and they got together. After a while she found out that a brain tumor she had previously, had returned and she was given only 3 months to live. So she left him and stayed in the hospital. He thought she had just broken up with him and so he was waiting for her, miserably. So basically, during the entire show, if you saw him being sad, she was already dead. What made it seem like him ignoring her or cheating on her wasn't actually that since he couldn't see her. Only that one kid at the school could. I think because she left without saying anything, he didn't have any closure and couldn't get over her. He didn't know she had the brain tumor either so of course he didn't consider that as an option for her leaving him.
Is there anyone else who found Wu Tong to be incredibly stupid and irritating? I almost dropped the drama every ep after 15 because of her ~.~
Not only does she go along with being Xiang Jun's girlfriend when she didn't have feelings for him, but she wouldn't stay out of their business. How many times does she go running to him so she can help him? Why does she care to help him? What about ZhongMou's feelings? I can't understand why anyone would want her. Not to mention she told her son to speak his mind or no one would ever know what he was thinking. But she didn't do that the entire drama! Her starting her sentences with "I..." and then looking like a guilty victim made me so angry. She let people misunderstand her and then wanted to cry about it when they did. I just can't understand her. Her saying that something is a misunderstanding doesn't mean anything when she didn't explain why it's a misunderstanding. And after her and ZhongMou got married, why does she think it's a good idea to keep working for his rival? What good will that do her husband. And then she'd get jealous when Mandi showed up a few times but didn't think about her husband would feel when she would drop everything to run to Xiang Jun. I just can't with people like her,

Fact is, even if people don't like Gaya, she's several times more interesting than Ok Ryeon lol. I truly wish they would have put more emphasis on Gaya's storyline instead of having most of it happen off screen. Gaya is badass and the only saving grace of the drama for me other than Aoki since Shinichi is dead.

Agree so much! People seem to dislike Gaya because they like Ok Ryeon better. Personally I think Gaya is badass! She's grown so much since she started. In the beginning she was lashing out at whoever without really understanding the situation she was in. Now she has knowledge and the ability to actually find out the answer she's looking for. She actually thinks and she's not whiny or defenseless.
It's funny because people complain that they want a strong female lead and Gaya is exactly that. I do admit that OR is spunky though.
I really want to finish this but I find the female lead soooo annoying :( Does she get smarter or is this a drama where I'm going to always have to question why she does something at a questionable moment?
