Thank you. I will check the movie out. I had issues with the TV show. Lots of second hand embarrassment moments and the show started to drag around episode 21. Regardless, her story is inspiring and touching.

Is the romance of Dr Lin and Xiong Dun real in life? I know the show is about her life but not sure how much liberty the writers took. When I searched the Internet it said that she was single.

I totally understand you. From seeing this whole show without subs, I can say that the romance is there but it is not the main focus. The couple does have good chemistry and there were some sweet scenes. The actions in the show were really cool. There was a scene I held my breath watching it because it was intense action for a long time because the undercover cop was trying to escape from being captured. It went from roof jumping to running in buildings to car chasing. There seems to have some Internal Affairs plot involved but not sure how much since no subs. There is a really good friends/buddy story in here and it was very touching. I didn't find anyone particularly annoying to watch. Finally, the ending is setup for the show to have a sequel so the story is complete but not fully. (being vague because I don't want to ruin it for anyone ) I hope this helps. And I see that you came here for Lin Shen from HSDS. I will say you definitely will see more of him on the screen in this show since he is the undercover cop so he has lots of cool action scenes and his romance story is cute but not the main focus.

I see where you are coming from since they spread the annoying pieces over the last 4 episodes, but I disagree. At most, I will say that 2.5 episodes of the last 4 were full of tears and anger. I found the following moments were sweet or funny in the last 4 episode: (1) the boxing scene, (2) homemade canned fruit, (3) Shengnan fangirling over Lu Jin's ceo power at work, (4) Lu Jin giving money to his assistant and their interaction, (5) throwing and catching of the heart in mid air at the villa, (6) the way Lu Jin tried to be a good older brother, and (7) the proposal.

I never found subs for this. I watched it by using Google translated summary recaps and pasting things together from there. Would love to re-watch it with subs since I know I miss all of the plot involving the crimes. I think I got most of the romance plot.
