Yep, he looks younger with his hair down. But, even that doesn't remove his "idol" looks. I highly suspect that he'll get roasted everywhere regardless of his hairstyle as he is basically an idol actor.
I skipped 80% of AvenueX's video as I barely watched anything major from CDramas this year. I watched her thoughts on Legal Romance. She was apathetic, unfortunately.

I saw several photos of him with his hair down on his instagram. Now I'm sure that his hair is purposefully made "hedgehog" to make him appear older and wiser, particularly when he is in a suit.
(Came back to this article after AvenueX's latest video where she mentioned this drama and Tao.)
Yang Zi is an excellent actress. But, I suspect that she is getting typecasted for such roles. I saw her in Go Go Squid, My Mowgli Boy, Battle Of Changsha, Ashes of Love. She begins as the "Innocent college girl/immature female lead". (Don't know how she is in TOOL. Maybe I'll check it out.)
Z. Tao seems to choose roles that he knows that he can pull off without appearing fake. That's his charm. :)
Guys... I find this one is far more interesting than TOOL.TOOL is much overrated. That drama doesn't deserve those…
TOOL is a regular drama that depicts two people falling in love amidst crisis. It can give the viewers the necessary feelings. Plus, the leading actors (who without a question, possess incredible talent) have a huge number of fans who might rate it subjectively. Last year's You Are My Glory is a proof.
Legally Romance is more on the serious side and deals with character development, regrets and life lessons in general. In terms of plot, it beats TOOL. And the leading cast's acting prowess is no less than other well known actors. Sadly, "idol dramas" are overlooked and underrated, even the good ones. It only has 400+ ratings and they tend to be more objective.
Was that ghost woman walking into the house at the end meant to represent someone or something?
That might be the case, but I didn't think much into it. To me, it seemed to tell that House No. 88 did not have any living occupants left anymore. (In the 1st episode, we see the house occupied by a ghost, Phob, when Phat and his mom arrived. Now that everyone is gone, it gets another supernatural tenant once again.)
but why Lu xun is showing both withdrawal and denial symptoms now? when quen wei confronted him then why did he…
I think Lu Xun never clearly showed indications that he loved her while she had Li Chong Wen. He tried protecting her from afar in the way he can. We as viewers connected the dots, but she always saw him as a ruthless boss. When she woke up, she had LCW beside her; so Lu Xun once again retreated. Especially after the comment about him overworking and tiring her. To Lu Xun, nothing changed. It's just that Qian Wei finally realized that Lu Xun loves her. She couldn't change overnight, so now she has to prove her sincerity.
22 episodes are out? I watched till Ep 16 and am waiting for another 8 episodes to binge. Did she wake up already?
Yep. We get 6 episodes each week. (Thursday - Saturday. Two each day.) She might wake up in one of today's episodes based on the trailer. (23 -- 24). The past is definitely going to end this week.
An excellent introducton to the series! Thanks for the article, ChoNa. I was waiting for it to get published! :D This is the only CDrama that caught my attention this year after Reset. I' ve completed 22 episodes and so far, it did not disappoint.
This drama deserves a better rating than 8.1, considering it's quality. And I've seen a lot of dramas that have absolutely no content get a higher rating than this.
I am a little worried too, because without spoiling too many things, even when Qian Wei and Lu Xun get together…
Well... I just saw the whole trailer and music video. The 'angst' is definitely real. I just hope it doesn't ruin the mood and is worth it in the end. (He apparently finds her journal. All the trouble starts after she wakes up, I guess? So many tears in that trailer.

LCW was exclusively offered an internship at AES, which finally lead to him climbing up the ladder. Since that has been eliminated, I don't think LX would be able to go down that path. He seems to have his own fate ready. (Like how he became a lawyer instead of a judge.)

First episode and some part of the second are very 'legalish'. (ML is a lawyer and FL is his assistant, so there is some case+evidence and all going on.) I personally did not find any character annoying. And the leads begin their relationship before half of the drama, so there is still plenty of room for misunderstandings. (Hoping that it's not the case. We have 16 more Episodes left.) The 'time travel' part plays a major role when it comes to chara ters. FL doesn't actually travel in time. She witnesses the events from a different and experienced perspective. I've watched upto EP15 and enjoyed it immensely. I've no idea about the future episodes though.

My face hurts from laughing too much. Especially the play in EP16.
