Cringe-y at first, but I started to enjoy the drama after the first few episodes. Also, not the best in terms of plots as there are some loopholes. Still, wanted to commend Cha Eun Woo's acting here - he still can't really act, but his acting here is much better than his other dramas that I've watched. Glad that I've finally watched this!
Also, I'm having awful second lead syndrome withdrawals here... and I like the FL's siblings, they're both so fun to watch.
Started off nicely, but started to be draggy in the middle portion. Then it was interesting for awhile (when the 2nd prince was exiled), before going back to meh.
I've had high expectations of this because of Bai Jingting and the very unique episode 1. Thankfully, ending was "complete" even though I had hoped to see more of the ML individual scenes.
Probably one of the best written and executed drama I've seen in a long time. Really love the three siblings and their dads, how the siblings gradually matured as well as exploring the definition of "family".
But I was pretty disappointed with the very, very rushed ending and annoyed with Ling Xiao's mum's long, draggy scenes... Also, the Zhuang Bei's love scenes were pretty unnecessary. I can only think of these air time being put to better use.
After putting this on hold for so long, I finally watched it.... and I've become Li Xian's fan!! Late to the party, but better late than never.
To be honest, initial episodes are a bit cringey and Yang Zi might have sometimes overdone some of the "cute" gestures but I guess it's probably just to further emphasise the age gap between the FL & ML. Plot development is still okay, although there are a few abrupt transitions and loopholes between certain scenes/events. In this sense, it's not the best drama out there but...
I can't stop fangirling over Han Shang Yan hahaha. Li Xian is really adorable here!!
Overall plot is not bad, and though I like both Seo In Guk and Oh Yeon Seo, they didn't really have chemistry as a couple but rather, gives off bro vibes. FL's lead character is also pretty annoying half the time. Another thing is the over-used lame humours... A few is still funny, but overused, it becomes cringey.
Middle portion gets draggy, but tried my best to finish because of SIG.
Hadn't watched a drama that's so captivating in a long time, really enjoyed watching Wu Lei & Zhang Lusi. Sadly, the ending was rushed and we never got to see the long-anticipated wedding of the main couple.
I've thoroughly enjoyed ADOS, Chen Xiao and Liu Yifei's chemistry is really amazing! Only thing is that I thought the last few episodes regarding Ouyang Xu was too draggy. Air time could have been used to show us more of the main couple's scenes, not a few minutes of flashbacks at the end.
Also, I was expecting to see the main couple's wedding scene, since they've been talking about it for a LONG time, so although it was sweet to see Sanniang getting her wish, I was still disappointed it wasn't the couple I wanted to see. In this aspect, the ending kinda reminds me of LLTG because well, both had talks of marriage for a long time but it was a no-show till the end. Still, ADOS rounded it up better than LLTG, the latter being far too brief.
I really love and had thoroughly enjoyed this show, especially Wu Lei! But the last few episodes were kinda disappointing... Suddenly there's so much happening in a few episodes, and we don't even get any more lovey dovey scenes from the main couple. Was really anticipating their wedding scene :(
So... First half was good, then it got really draggy in the middle, and ending was abrupt and confusing. Really like ZYC & ZLS here, it's just that it was hard to watch ZLS's character in the middle portion (after they went down Xiang Qu Shan). Not because I'm not really a fan of the side couple, but the middle portion had far too many repetitive and draggy scenes of theirs... to the point that it was ruining the show for me. That airtime could have been better used to develop the ending.
Also, I get that ML loved FL for over a thousand years, but that part is too brief, kinda a touch-and-go thing. Can I just ask (because I'm not very certain), if ML has been replaying the scene whereby FL plays the drum during the war... because he regrets not being able to save her? What was that war about? Also the ending, so ML didn't really die because he exists in the lamp and kinda summoned the FL?
I really enjoyed the drama, and Park Eun Bin did a great job portraying Woo Young Woo. Although I really love Young Woo, I just thought that the last few episodes were a bit draggy... Hopefully there will really be a season 2 and that wouldn't disappoint.
First half was really slow paced and even though Yu Tu's an aerospace engineer, I thought that there were a bit too many aerospace related scenes. Second half was so sweet that it had me grinning all the way, until the ending. I was expecting a longer scene from the leads but...
