Im sorry, i just wanna clarify some stuffs because maybe I didn’t understand what I’ve watched, or maybe I…
Because the girl put out a video that made it look like she was going to kill herself, the netizens start to attack Tong Yao for it, when Tong Yao never said anything at all about it. So Tong Yao was going to be force to stop being a girl gamer, and apologize, because her attacker was depressed, and made it look like she was going to kill herself.

Even Tong Yao wondered if she did something wrong, and was going to do it.

Yeah, they were showing how insane the Netizens can be, but how the show handled it was wrong, and made decisions that had to be for some misguided drama. The team knew the truth, and yet, it didn't matter. They were so worried that this crazed fan, hurting herself, that they were going to destroy a innocent girls career.

The entire show, he was strong, and then out of left field they have him break, but it's the show that chose to show him that way, and have him treat Tong Yao that way, and the only reason why they did that, was to force bad drama into something that didn't need it. Right after that, everything went on like nothing happened. The team was a well oiled machine.

I just want to say, this is the way I saw it. I don't want to take away from your experience. If you it saw it a different way, and you really like it, then that's fine.

I just really have issue on how Tong Yao was treated, for defending herself, her team, and after she was hurt by a crazed fan.

I don't feel that Lu Si Cheng earned his breakdown, the show did a bad job of trying to earn the drama they were trying to inject into the story. You could literally cut out that drama from the show, and you would never know it happened, because the characters had no scars from the experience afterwards. So if you cut before the girl put out a video saying she was going to kill herself, and just jumped to the police station, and all of Cheng's bad decisions were removed, and I never knew about them, it would probably make the show much better to me.

My main problem is, they didn't earn the drama they were trying to show, they just sort of threw it in there, and treated Tong Yao again badly. It just didn't make any sense to me. Honestly though, most of his actions towards Tong Yao in the last half of the series was a bit messed up. Their relationship, really didn't feel earned either. The whole thing didn't really vibe well to me.

But like I said, if you really liked the show, that's great, I wish I could see it the same way. I don't go around looking for issues, but when things make no logical sense to me, it just sticks out like a sore thumb. Shows should earn the feelings they are trying to get out of us. I doubt what I'm feeling is what they were aiming for though. :)

I might go, and edit the series, and cut out the bad drama, and watch the series at a much later date, and see how it hits me then. I feel it would enjoy more.

Wait, were your referring the biatch-girl issue? Like the one with the wtf game they had to play with random girls?…
I have issue with her getting in trouble for defending the team, as well as it's somehow her fault that she was attacked by a fan, and that fan is somehow depressed by the backlash of their actions, and pretended to kill themselves, and it's somehow her fault, when she never said anything, and she's being forced to apologize, and not be allowed to play anymore. The whole thing is beyond ridiculous.

Then the punishment for the crime is less than 10 days, and a small amount of money fine.... That's just nuts, and both the girl and their parents were acting like that was unfair! Just nuts!!!

How Lu Si Cheng handled it was very poor. No one knew what was going on, and Tong Yao was made to think she somehow did something wrong. All to try to make unneeded drama.... smh

fr his character was so cringey and out of no where he started being weird towards tong yao and starting kissing…
Yeah, he was using his stardom to do what he wanted, and he could have had most any girl he wanted, but he only wanted a good gaming girl. I respect that. Didn't hurt that he was rich as well.

Half the series he was very serious, and then he just started to become more and more unlikeable.

Tong Yao kept getting shafted. She wasn't allow to stand up for herself, or the team, and then someone hurts her, and she has to apologize for it..... HUH!

Honestly though, I think it's possible for someone to edited out some of these bad things done, and no one would realize they ever happened, and the series would be so much better. Because those moments were only done for drama, and those moments really damaged this series. If someone just released a version with those moment cut out. I would bet this series would be a great deal more likeable.

I've done something like that with The King's Avatar. I love the novel, and I've read it many times, but the live action did something really stupid imo. They did something that didn't happen in the novel, and mainly for drama. I just edited the subtitles, and changed the outcome of the decision for his punishment, so it was more like the novel's.

Because the only place the punishment was mentioned was in that room. I never saw it said to the public in the series. I can't understand the language, so changing the subtitles completely fixes my issue with that scene. :)

Oh, and I also changed all the names for all the teams and players to their novel names for the whole series. Like I said, I really love the novel, and the live action series was pretty good, and much better after changing the subtitles for the better. :)
