I'm only in the first episode, but I like the show. They always used to cast the main female character in naive roles in other series. I find her role in this series more substantial and fitting, to be honest. No matter how much I liked her other shows, I used to get annoyed by the character she portrayed.

I wish they had stuck to the script of the novel. I don't understand why they felt the need to change the script.

Worst drama of Yang Zi I've ever watched. Till the end of the moon starring Bai lu and Luo Yun Xi was also far below my expectations. Both the scripts are terrible. I don't understand how they get such high ratings when there are so many better works on the market. Now people seem to be looking at hype, not quality.

I don't understand people who really like this show. I mean, the script was really bad. The directing was mediocre. I can count many better fantasy Chinese dramas than this one. It doesn't deserve 8.9 points.

We have a main character who is declared guilty no matter what he does. Even if he's right. The reasons for the events contradict each other. The script is not as good as I expected for a high budget movie.
