Why the heck most writers likes to give cancer to any likeable characters that is about to achieve their own happiness? So unnecessary I’m telling you. Just how convenient would it be if they just keep the plot simple and make it a lighthearted drama, the whole wang mf character could be kept in the trash bin and should have make them reconcile sooner rather than squeezing them all in the last episode. Romance? heheheheheif you are a sucker for a frustrating doormat-like characters that only knows love for only one person then yeah. No great kiss scene as of ep 22.
p/s: the characters are frustrating in the middle of the drama, it started good though, so you should really give it a shot first. We are about to enter the frustrating a not-so-love triangle between the leads and a strange man that comes out of nowhere i think if we are looking on the trailers ep23-24. Idk.

Yes, Bai Lu did not use her own voice in One and Only. It was dubbed.
Fyi, China has a whole dubbing industry because they has much more accents languages and most could not understand. They has to speak Standard Mandarin in order to have their drama license approved. It has been going on for a long time. Most wuxia/xianxia/historical dramas and even modern dramas usually has their actors’ voices dubbed in order to have it matched with their own character’s personality.
Is this good? I havent started the drama yet because I am skeptical reading the messy synopsis 🥲 So many things going on…..and the characters sound boring to me 😭
The chairwoman seo myeong joo the one who killed his dad. The betrayer from NIS is their director, Director Kim hyung bae. SMJ killed his dad using the director’s pistol. They are close to finding the vault at that time and while the dad is running away, he hid in the vault while got shot and died alone there. They did not find the gold there.
Gonna give this a solid 9/10 because it is not too heavy and light hearted to watch. The pace is not too slow and not too fast either. The casts are perfect imo. Seo Kang Joon nailed the character 🫶🏻This drama is very enjoyable! I prefer this kind of plot for k-drama now, because I am tired of all the bullying and cheating based k-dramas out there. Okay so first of all, this series is good. I’d not say insanely good, but it is a great drama with great potential. Earlier episodes, I can say until episode 12-15 is good to make people hooked, but until the 19th episode, it gets boring. I ALMOST dropped this.
BUT! Thankfully I picked it up once again because I just want to see the ending at that point.
The villains! That little princess can attend the most ruthless character competition that people wanted to disappear the most and she’d undoubtedly be the winner for sure lol. Her evil grand princess can be runner-up or vice versa maybe the ranking will change at times lol.
Ep22-30 onwards pretty intriguing. But up until ep35 I’d just say, JUST GIVE ME THE DAMN ENDING. Because for me It gets a little draggy at that point.
Ep35-36 I’d say a bit messy and fast paced, because I really cannot think a lot because the scenes will just jump from one to another so fast that I can’t even savor my ice cream properly haha. But nevertheless, episode 37-40 is great overall! I love the ending, but…..!!!!
NOT ENOUGH OMAIGADD!
