Title The Best Thing Spoiler
As a daughter who had a parent with cancer, I absolutely understand how WYF felt. My late dad did the same thing to us, when me and my sister were studying abroad at that time. Imagine having to go through your final exams when your mom called to inform my dad was just out of surgery. I was like ????????? the whole time. My parents are my everything. I was in a mess for a short while and even broke up with my boyfriend just because back then my life turns so messy in a blink of an eye. Please parents out there, no matter what you think your sickness will be, going through it without telling your kids will just make your kids felt like a failure; at least that is what I felt back then. Not being there physically and not knowing are two different matters. Don’t hide your sickness from your loved ones ;))
