Maybe because it looks more like Produce rather than Girls Planet I really liked it. I feel like they highlighted a lot of trainees, obviously it’s impossible to give all of them screentime but at least a lot of them were noticed. I’m also glad that they talked about idols being able to sing. A lot of people don’t care about it but it’s important anyway. I’m excited for the next ep.
just done with the 5 episodes released and they served camp with a bit of high school musical in it and i do love it. looking forward to watch this weekly now.
It's impossible to not to compare with the korean version when this is similar to the opening having the same song and the design to even some dialogues. (i actually keep checking the scenes from the korean one on netlix) i struggled to see what could difference them other than the languague and the budget.
To me, i found that i have things that i liked more here and others things that i liked more in the original. Not ashamed to say that im biased because here i enjoy some of the actors more. Techi was absolutely amazing as Yiseo definitely more human, less stubborn and -thank god- free of prejudicies. This is definitely props to Techi for having charisma, im sure. Ryoma was also less gloomy and less poker face than Saeroyi, he was even funny from time to time. His words and actions were definitely not as cold towards Aoi after he found that she liked him. I also pretty much enjoyed the original ost and i keep listening to it.
My bad points would definitely be Araki Yuko, the complete erase of Kim Toni's characters and the less presence that the supporting characters had, well, this is definitely because they fast paced it but still it felt empty.
I dont hate Araki Yuko or anything but she just cant act. The original character was terrible but definitely made it worse. The actor that plays Ryuji also kind of sucked because he looks soft so i didnt buy when he went on his bitter era.
But nonethless i pretty much enjoyed. I will never know why i like this story so much but i do. So this definitely motivated me to watch this version other than the actors, of course.
aside from the episodes that Tomohisa appeared i think the episodes and the games were so fun to watch. I loved the new characters and the old ones appearing. Photography was insane and also the instrumental songs in the games. The end was definitely fufilling. I'm quite glad that the show is popular because people are tuned in something good.
officially my favorite pairing from gmm. these two were so good in terms of chemistry i genuinely think they carried this series. as for the plot sometimes boring and repetitive but it had a great twist, supportive characters were fine i didn't care about them that much but i can tell everyone is good at their job. overall great series.
i've watched a few bls from gmm because people asked me to despite not liking the actors but this one right here sir i buy every single scene of them (as clichered they are) im so glad First and Khaotung got paired together they just fit.
Nice first episode. I think it's pretty faithful to the original and if i'm not wrong the theme song seems to be the same one but with japanese lyrics. I also think there's some budget here and i hardly saw the usual filter from jdramas. Cast is also fucking good, Ryoma fits like a gloove.
Ngl, my feelings for Woong are all happy a party right now. I somewhat see they following the novel steps but i feel like third guy won't appear at all. At this rate Yumi will end up alone but if this is the end i won't mind either.
Photography was amazing i love how gloomy it was. for me it matched their feelings and it made special. i love these characters and i believe they love each other as well, which it was proven in the end. I wish I Promised You The Moon had this plot. Its my kind of angst.
I think it was her mistake to leave him alone for a whole year. She has no job, writing can be done anywhere,…
That’s not her fault at all. If he’s the type he would be like this everywhere, even if they were seeing each other on regular days. He got waved by someone else, it’s way too common than people think.
Not getting mad at Babi as I already knew what goes down on the webtoon but honestly what people expected? He was being presented as this perfect guy and everyone knows there’s no such thing.
Yamada Ryosuke as expected fits this role perfect. everything he does its cute so i was amazed. also him and the girl have great chemistry, this was actually super fun to watch.
