I started watching the 1st episode a long time ago but dropped it cause I didn't find the plot interesting, but after seeing the show consistently trending and having good ratings here I thought that maybe it's actually good so I watched the 10 episodes over the last few days. and I see that my 1st impression was right. it's basically about 2 guys who were forced to be a gay couple when they were children (yes they were forced. there's no way they could figure out their sexuality at such a young age. and the funny thing is when Kuea said they're lucky that their family accepts them.. actuallly their family DECIDED for them that they were gay lmao. I really don't get why the grandpa was fixated on finding a husband for his young grandchild lol) and who love each other but one of them suddenly decides to tell the other one that he doesn't love him (the excuse is that he doesn't love his public persona. he could just tell him that he likes his wild side more and cut all the trouble lol) and then we get a bunch of episodes where he's trying to prove that what he said was a lie... what kind of story is that? they try to make up for the lack of plot by giving us kissing and sexy scenes to the point that I started it to watch them with a blank face and hoping they would end asap. Yi and Diao's relationship isn't any better. They don't show why they love each other and the guy who plays Diao is bad at acting, he makes weird facial expressions and acts like a robot who doesn't have anything going on in his head. I don't know why Yi loves him.. I'll keep watching because only 2 episodes are left and I don't like leaving series unfinished lol. the only enjoyable aspect of this show is Kuea's college friends, they're pretty funny and Syn+nuer is a more interesting couple, at least we got to see how they met and how/why they started to like each other.
An interesting pov I saw on youtube about the sex scene: Porsche was given an aphrodisiac substance, so he wasn't unconscious but instead horny as f**k, and the fact that he refused vegas means that he was able to make decisions and he chose to do it with Kinn.
Why did Vegas talk in english during the assault scene? that was weird lol. I guess he just realized that violence turns him on in the last scene.. he looked so twisted! I don't like the fact that Kinnporsche had sex in that moment, I know it happens in the novel and I thought that maybe they would change it but they didn't unfortunately, so I didn't enjoy that. I just want Porsche to do something with Kinn while he's 100% awake and conscious of his actions. I like Kim's appearance, he's very beautiful and cute but his dark side is very interesting and attractive! I wonder what he's investigationg and I can't wait to see more of him and his relationship with Porchay.
I read in the comments that in the next episode two guys will drug porsche and try to assault him.. who sent them? Vegas? If yes then why? Does he already suspect that Kinn might like him and so he wants to use him to hurt Kinn?
I feel like they'll keep losing fans with all the delays (the other bl shows released episodes even during the thai holiday).. and I wish it was released on youtube. The stuff on youtube always gets popular.
I'm currently in a very dark place in my life and the only thing that makes me feel better is thinking of this show and watching clips of it on youtube and reading the comments here
After reading the comments I think that the episode is a little overrated. Here are some thoughts: -we know that the show is about a dark and a dangerous world, but they try way too hard to show how badass these people are by adding edgy music sincee the first scene, fancy building and cars.. it looks caricatural. I think that it would've been better if the first scene was of Porsche in the club. -the italian mafia and the english dialogue were unecessary and cringey. -Kinn looks attractive but when he talks he sounds boyish and soft which makes it a little hard for me to believe he's dark and dangerous. -If Porsche is so good at fighting that he saved Kinn from a bunch of men then why was he easily defeated by him during the fight in the boat. If he's not that great then what's the point of going to extreme measures to make him a bodyguard. -Porsche being the only provider of his family is a very stereotypical thing for these type of characters and will be used as a bait against him all the time. Anyways, I'm looking forward to the next episode because of the genre of the drama and because it has adults instead of students.
I couldn't make it through the 1st episode. I watched half of it and felt like I was having a stroke. The dialogue is cringey, they talk so slowly and make weird facial expressions. And I don't understand why it's such a big problem for the main character and his friends to be seen standing 500m away from the "crush" that they have to go to extreme measures to hide themselves...
