i agree it is unnecessary, but please refer to my reply to the other commenter. i understand HJP was a beautiful character to begin with. trust me, i cried my eyes out for him many times. i really rooted for him. however, his behaviour has become gross. yes, the writers ruined him - i agree. but i find it equally concerning HJP still has supporters who defend his every action just because "the writers ruined him". in the end, this is who he is now. i understand being frustrated at his development / his character being treated this way, but he is acting gross and entitled towards dalmi. you can love the past HJP, but i think it's concerning he still has supporters after the way he has behaved. those actions of his, like trying to get rid of dosan to somehow "trick" dalmi into liking him, are possessive and obsessive.

i am as angry as you, but to blindly support him and calling him dreamy when he is acting this way... that is what is weird to me.

you may not be wanting to SDM and HJP to end up together, but there are some who do. that is who my comment is directed at... so if it doesn't apply to you, don't worry cause it doesn't concern you in particular.

however.... you guys are still blindly supporting a character who has become entitled and acts entitled and possessive of the FL. that is where my comment applies to you. the writers may have led his character astray, but he has shown no progression or development. he is still acting wrongly, so my comment has some truth to your "fandom". i understand the writers screwed up, because i liked him at first - but he has turned entitled, possessive, and obsessive. you are supporting that behaviour. that's "Disappointing"...

my comment was never to attack a "fandom". i don't care about fandoms. i just think it's gross tthat a character who has become quite toxic has fans. that's gross. stop enabling that behaviour just because he's played by someone handsome or because he had a tragic upbringing. i sympathize that the writer ruined him, but it is what it is.

i'm mainly watching for yeonwoo. the second episode was better than the first. i think some of this drama is a bit corny, but i'm still enticed to see how the plot plays out. i really like yeonwoo's character as jae-yi. byungchan's character is cute, but after reading some comments here i am a bit sus of him as well.

i don't hate the leads. i don't LOVE them, but i don't hate them. i understand why FL is so cold...it's absurd you guys are calling her TOXIC... but i don't really love any of the characters yet.

i realize that some of you like and sympathize HJP because of his tragic upbringing... trust me, i wanted to like him too and i don't absolutely hate him. however, i cannot believe you guys are rooting for him and dal-mi when:

A) she has barely shown romantic interest in him, and clearly has always liked do-san more. just because she liked HJP's letters and considered him her first love does not equate to her having feelings for him NOW.
B) it is gross to watch you supporters enable his blatant entitlement towards dal-mi... she has clearly shown to him she still loves dosan yet he believes he can just give her a RING out of nowhere? and the way he thinks she will love him if he gets rid of dosan - hence why he wished for him not to come back and why he stopped dosan from going up to dalmi's office? that's entitlement. it's gross. he's tried to sabotage them a million times.

i don't care if you think the writers ruined him. this is who he is now. stop supporting a second lead who is acting so entitled towards the FL and thinks he can have her if he gets rid of dosan. yes the writers did do his character wrong but that is who he is now... wishing for someone who is possessive over a girl who does NOT like him is so so weird and you guys keep supporting that because he is played by an actor you like or because his story made you cry... stop supporting entitled men.
