I'd recommend 'The File of Young Kindaichi (2022)' version I believe that he may have the 'cool' expression or it's just in his genes lololol. Andddd wayyyyy back with his 'antsy-highschooler-rebellion-student-but-actually-a-softie' for this one I'd recommend 'Where Have My Skirts Gone' eventhough he might not be the main role but for 17-year-old Michieda Shunsuke is pretty impressive. This was just my opinion though because I'm also his fan in both idol scenes and acting career sooo maybe give these a try! Would love to see your thoughts on this :)

Also gotta love lil Yamane's smile at the end 👀 idk if Iijima intentionally did that or it was in a script but damn I'd look at him just like what Yukimaru did lol. That was so cuteeeeee! Eventhough, this was just a series to show how TV station works like but I gotta say the subtle friendship/romance was there a bit (or is it just me)

Alright let me say this, I dropped this series like 2-3 years ago because I didn't understand exactly what the story is (before I even became Jdrama watcher)

Now that I'm one of them I wanted to tell everyone that stumble upon this series, this is very humorous and somehow very funny series or either I just have very weird sense of humor cause damn Yukimaru is literally someone I wanted to be: dumb but loveable.

I gave this series a chance once again because Iijima Hiroki having a role in this series and he did actually done pretty good job. He definitely need to play more of this type of roles.

This also have a potential of longer episodes but in the end it ended okay, not good or bad it's just another CM series. Pretty decent.

There is romance in the manga! The female lead and the male lead were childhood friends before if I remember correctly from what I read years ago. But this movie made no sense + it was kinda bad, not follow along w/ the manga AT ALL.

I'd love to see Hiroki in more Thriller or anything Horror related but he seem like a type of guy who would die first then suddenly appear as a Villain lol

Isn't Ohara Yono was in Bokura no before and she was a crazy girl then? That was unexpected hopefully she nailed her role in this. Well, obviously this one sounds better than Bokura lol
