I haven't watched this yet.But I have a question. From what I understand from the comments is the FL is like 10…
The thing is in society, especially in an Asian community, if the roles were reversed the entire dynamics changes too. A woman in her 30s dating someone 10 years younger in that society is likely to be judged and face greater pressure than a man in his 30s dating a lady 10 years younger than him. The man is likely to be seen by his fellows as hitting the jackpot and the woman as falling into a pit. I do get what you're trying to say though, that the FL actions seem selfish looking at the face of it. Maybe give the drama a watch if you're interested in the story or the actors, it may give perspective on the dynamics.

Yes, I'm aware music is put in post production most times. There are still dramas where its made to look more in sync like empresses is in the palace. But like i said, this is still a lovely drama.

I honestly think its not about being an expert, i love the drama dont get me wrong but i 100% agree about the music part. Even an amateur like me was distracted. Like the other person said you can get a professional to play and zoom in and then it can be zoomed out for tbe actress to do what ever "cool" moves the director likes. Its about directing and editing, you can love a drama and still notice its flaws especially when its an obvious one. Just saying
Nice concept. Totally a personal opinion but the dramas available don't seem that enticing quality wise, so I'll skip all my dates. Nevertheless, very unique idea👌
CP Munyo was actually only 5(4) yo. So heartbreaking.
Yeah. I believe the 10 years was referring to the King's reign not the time that passed. So his 3/4 year old son died during his 10th year of reign as a king.(He was already king for a few years before Deok im became his concunbine).

The time skip wasnt ten years. It was meant to show that it was the king's 10th year of reign. So his 3/4 year old son died during his 10th year of reign as a king.(He was already king for a few years before Deok im became his concunbine). Hope this helps
When did Yi San knew about Deok Im's brother? Did she tell him or have they met?
He saw her with her brother in episode 7, very close to the ending of the episode, when her brother gave her the blue wrist cloth but he didn't know the person was her brother until episode 16 during the confrontation with the Queen dowager and Hwabin.
The drama started a bit too slow paced for me but i stuck with it because i absolutely loved the source novel…
On a side note, even though i have zero interest in Aerospace, the rover launch in the final episode surprisingly got me so emotional. Although, like a comment below said, that English part in the middle killed the emotions a bit XD
The drama started a bit too slow paced for me but i stuck with it because i absolutely loved the source novel and Yang/Dilaraba look good onscreen. It was around episode 20 that the drama really got my attention, it became a weekly dose of happiness. I think its sad when drama starts on a high but hits a flat ending. YAMG was the right dose, it might not have started with a bang but the ending was definitely right in everyway. While not everyone may stick with the drama due to the slow paced beginning, i feel that everyone who does stick with it to the end is in for a happy experience with no regrets.
Given the controversy and plagiarism of the author of the soure novel, i feel hesitant to watch this. Its the weird feeling of wanting to watch a drama but feeling like if you do you're supporting plagiarism. Does the drama infuse its own originality or is it super faithful to the source novel?
Before I ask my doubts, I must say, the main leads had interesting personalities. I loved how straightforward…
Thank you for this. While I enjoyed the drama, I also felt something was lacking. I had the same questions as You, I actually rewound a lot of times because I felt I missed some information but turns out didn't, it was just never there.
Like why did they guy throw the stone? Was he a reporter or a curious passerby? Also wondered if I they ever explained the panic attack. What was the house that ji woo visited when they fought? Is ji woo rich or not? When he offered to pay the friend off in millions I was genuinely confused? So if he's rich or even not dirt poor, where does the complex that people pity him come from?
So yeah these questions and more left me a bit disconnected from the drama. Still its short and enjoyable and made me smile by the end
Seems to me they are both unfit parents but at the same time i dont think any conclusion should be made based on tabliod and scandal news. Those are often overstimulated and the public are always quick to pick up their pitchforks but never as quick to apologize when the full story comes out. Until the facts and circumstances are actually vetted in an actual court of law, the so called public court of opinion should be careful. Afterall no one is a saint without having ever made horrible decisions. We're just lucky not to be in the constant limelight of the media.
