Started good but then a lot of twists that ruined the main plot. It’s a mess and I don’t know how KJW accepted…
i remember reading somewhere that when kdramas are about to start production, only the first half of the kdrama is completely written and the later half is written when filming has already started so its probably the case here.... id be pissed as hell if i was ksh and kjw 😭
well obviously being deaf is a disability. no would would wanna wish that on someone??? r u ok
??? obviously i know that?? but at the same time, ending the kdrama with someone that used to be deaf in their original timeline and having them not be deaf anymore in the new one comes off as a bit ableist.. its like saying deaf people cant be happy without being able to hear which i think gives off a distasteful message. despite being disabled and the hardships he experienced as a deaf parent, yichan in the og timeline was still very happy with his life because he had cheongah and their sons
why do u guys hate deaf people so bad... theres nothing wrong with yichan becoming deaf...
it would be so much more meaningful to have the whole purpose of eungyeol and eunyu's trip to the past to be an opportunity for them to enjoy their youth, something they didn't get to enjoy in the present, while at the same time, getting to know about their parents more. especially since it's been evident since the first episode that eungyeol quite literally knew nothing about his parents. and for eunyu to finally realize that she was a result of her parents love and that her parents at one point in time, did love each other. eungyeol and eunyu were never meant to change their parents' pasts.
yichan and cheongah were always meant to meet and fall in love. it didn't matter if eungyeol made them meet each other sooner than they were supposed to. it was fate. and the same should be said for yichan's accident. it was always meant to happen.
if anything, if the kdrama ends with future yichan being able to hear... for viewers that can see themselves in cheongah and future yichan, for anyone who is deaf or hard of hearing, i feel like it would just be giving a terrible and disheartening message across the board. especially after the whole conversation yichan and cheongah had together about music not being just for ears, but also for the eyes and heart. same for viewers who are also codas as well! being a coda is a huge part of eungyeol's identity and it really shaped him as a person and to remove that part of his identity... well...!
Well same thing happened with see you in my 19th life it needed more eps nd clearly adapted plot of webtoon but…
NOOOO DONT JINX IT im still sad about syim19l they changed so much that i didnt even bother finishing it.. im just thankful this one isnt 12 eps, hopefully they make use of the extra 2 eps they gave agdtbad 🙏
BRAHHHH been waiting for this kdrama for 3 years i'm being dead serious when i say agdtbad is the greatest webtoon of all time 14 eps is pissing me off tho like this couldve easily been a 16 or 20 ep drama 🦧
first half of the drama is so beautifully written and really worth the watch i think!! but the second half started getting messy and the writing was all over the place imo… wouldn’t really waste my time with all that if i chose to rewatch it again (and im not saying this bc of all the drama about the sml vs ml)
really enjoyed the visuals and cinematography throughout the whole drama though!! absolutely loved the color palette
