Heesu and Seungwon love story deserved so much better
I don't know that happened here, I feel that they want to put so many storylines on the show and forgot that they only had 10 episodes to it. If this show had a second season, everything here would made more sense and this review would've be completely different, but it was not the case, at all.
First, we have to acknowledge that we are talking about a adaption of a manhwa, called Heesu In Class 2. This show is about him. His stuff, his life. But the writers somehow made everything about so much else, and this was a problem. It's only a 10-episode series, of course that put so many things that wouldn't work out. So many stuff will be left out, either. And that was what happened, specially with HEESU and SEUNGWON love story. We don't get to see them together, this was so sad! It's not fair to the manhwa, to the story itself, it was bad! They have 10 episodes for only in the three, four final minutes we get to see they holding hands and that's it. OMG!
Another point, they destroyed the character of Chan Young. Here, he's the worst best friend a person could ask for it. His story about the tennis was too much. We need to see that, once again, the name of the show is Heesu In Class, IT'S ABOUT HIM! Not Chan Young In Tennis. If the writers want that so bad, they make a spin off about it!
The development here about HEESU and SEUNGWON was valid. They bring afraid about everything, this "I like him" back and forth, the confusion that they made about everything, it was interesting. But, again, we only have a few episodes, we want to see more of them together, and we don't have it. That was a bummer. The show prioritize others, and this is what we got in the end.
Anyways, I feel that we lost so much with this show. The actors are good, the way they recording was beautiful, too, but the script... left so much to desired. It's a shame. I'm sad. I'm mad. This was not the way I wanted too write this review. But it's the true.
