narratively speaking there being only 1 version of her makes more sense than her being two separate entities, also being the center of the plot - if you dislike that then yea the drama wasn’t for your liking from the beginning

there’s likely only one JXY. her ‘original world’ is just disillusionment brought from desiring a better life, sort of like a fake world.

but that’s not exactly the case is it? there’s a difference between pretending to be someone you’re not and completely taking over their body (in their timeline). i find it interesting how they’re addressing something most transmigration stories refuse to - how do loved ones of the original ‘soul’ deal with losing said person and instead having to settle for someone that looks the same but is in every other way just not? it’s such body horror to begin with.

it seems they’re filming until the very last day of broadcast which is basically unheard of. how are the editors going to complete their job, much less do it well, when the said episode has to be aired that night?? what is mbc even thinking … the director and everyone involved need a big fat bonus for this. as for mbc, they’ve lost it.

with all due respect, lee chung ah was redundant throughout the entire drama. MBC clearly made some changes (especially to sell the one dollar lawyer reunion that no one wanted in this context) in hopes of enticing viewers but it backfired. If the script was truly in the works for 5+ years, there’s no way the supposedly penultimate episode would’ve been this loosely put together. It always boils down to company greed I guess.

with reference to the op; those aren’t official stills though, they’re reuters that cdramas always have. it’s a pretty common thing that if you combine all the reuters from the start of filming to the airing date, you might be able to piece out the entire drama lol.

i have a lot of opinions (some mixed) about today’s episode but the last 5 minutes? amazing. we didn’t just get proper communication - we got the most romantic scene of the drama so far imo and it’s all about the words ❤️

after watching today’s episode i have come to the conclusion this show is actually a comedy (they just have a funny way of showing it that’s all). spoilers for context in the replies.

btw glad the angst didn’t last long - next week we’re getting cute moments again! and we cheered that loser is gone now.

gilchae finally knows it was janghyun who saved her that day! that revelation scene where she grasps just how much he loves and would do for her was satisfying but also heartbreaking. ahn eun jin really deserves all the awards (everyone in this stellar cast does)

on a totally unrelated note: i am so sick of that princess. she’s just a pain in the ass that needs to be killed off. sorry chungah but you’ve overstayed your welcome (what happened to the original plot of being a cameo 💀)

let’s be honest gilchae don’t give a shit about that coward lmfao. he’s a complete loser and the sooner he’s dead the better. also, it’s great the actor seems to take on a better character in worst of evil lol (or so i’ve heard)

episode 14 really reinforced the “till death do us part” like nature of their relationship damn. both of them willing to make sacrifices for the sake of the other but the stakes increase tenfold because of the setting.

some of y’all are so pressed over gilchae being married it’s starting to become hilarious 💀 like she’s out here being brutalised, captured as a slave, sold to men and paraded around like a bag of bones but sure! her being married (to a useless coward of a man i may add) is the most important issue. it’s like a female character can’t have a story outside of being the side piece because there’s a message the drama is trying to bring across about the treatment of females and unjust of those innocent in war but nope as usual the comments are losers.

anyways go watch ep 13 for more crying, angst and gilchae being an amazing female lead!
