I just completed watching this series and honestly I don’t get why people kept saying that Song Joon Ki didn’t…
I don't quite get if you get them or don't get them xD like.. do you agree that he suits the role or not? (You said he doesn't suit the role, but then you said that you can't think of a better choice than him^^) Edit: I READ IT WRONG OMG sorry I was kinda blind but I see it now xD haha
As much as I love Song Joong Ki, I rated this pretty low. I mean...it could have had a better ending. The last…
It is so shocking to me to read this, because like... I have the opposite opinion on everything you just said there! xD seriously.. I cannot imagine this show without comedy at all, it was the heart of it, the ESSENCE that made it so unique and good. The female lead was phenomenal to me in every way. I loved her and I will watch her other works for sure! Not hating at all, just shocked to see such an extreme opposite of what I feel :'D it's interesting.
This was seriously one of a kind. The OST really contributed to the retro vibe this series had going for it. I would've personally loved for it to have more episodes, so we could've focused more on the personal stories at the end, many things were still left open, though we got all information that we needed. Perhaps this is also the beauty of this drama, that it gave us just the right amount to be satisfied. It's just that I loved this so much, I wanted more. But that is fine, because what we got was SO GOOD! Well done. Seriously amazing acting, lovely, unique characters and a heartwarming story.
Ah, well!I know your last sentence is more like an exclamation and a joke, but I also want to answer, no, it's…
Okay, feel free to tell me your feelings about the ending when you've seen it~ it sucks to not have much free time, i know the feeling >_< hope you can relax sometime soon.
Mixing a serious story with Airplane!-level comedy doesn't work. The ending is about as facepalmy as that of Crash…
I respect your opinion, but to me this is exactly what made this show so endearing and fun to watch. It is a dark comedy after all :)
Though i must agree that there could've been more content to show and yes, sometimes the plot was a little too convenient for our corn salad gang, gotta admit. But i was okay with it, since it wasn't to be taken too seriously. What i would've enjoyed to see is more insight on Vincenzo's conscience. About him dealing with guilt of his past and present actions. We saw brief moments of that though. One one hand, this series doesn't NEED more of that, since like i said, it isn't to be taken too seriously, but it still would've fit quite well and i personally would've liked to see it. Maybe in season 2? ?
Never would i have guessed that i would love this so much!! It is best to not really expect anything in particular and just start watching this. It is indeed a dark comedy with a hint of romance and it's all well balanced! The acting was just very good and some shots were seriously so beautiful and enchanting to watch. The CGI is top notch as well. You'll be surprised, if you actually give this one a chance! After a million years i am now finally a fan of Song Joong Ki and also a fan of Jeon Yeo Bin. Aaaand also Kwak Dong Yeon, Im Chul Soo and many of the other cast! They were all incredible. At first i saw that it had 20 episodes and thought "Isn't this too long? Won't it get draggy?", but nope! It is in fact a little too short... hope there will be a second season, but only if they have enough content to fill it with. Though, i think there is still plenty additional content the amazing people behind this show can think of and show us. Maybe not for another 20, but at least 10 episodes. I wish!
Okay i actually get what you are saying lol sorry, now i see it xD okay so i am from germany, am 22 and... I have never really been in a relationship. Lol, tmi^^, but who cares~ Well, that is why i feel like it is insanity to be with many people and get so intimate with all of them. But i guess like you said, this is actually reality! Also the example you made indeed feels so unrealistic. So the conclusion is, that you are probably right lol xD I just confused "realistic" with "relateable" it seems hehe
Idk maybe it's more realistic and relateale to me personally then^^ i just can't relate to most american shows, because they just see each other and sleep with each other, then they get together, then they break up and get together with other people, but they clearly have feelings for the first person they slept with, then get jealous and get together again and stuff like that, i find that so unwatchable personally and i relate 0% to it and that's why i find the awkwardness that kdramas portray more natural and real ? idk how to explain it. But of course yes, i don't think that KDrama in and of itself are realistic, like the stories or the coincidences but idk. The romantic relationships to me feel more relateable. Maybe that's what i meant, not realistic, but more relatable. But of course many american shows are very realistic when it comes to everything else! Also i do like some shows. Idk, probably was saying that because of personal preference, not very objectively, so please excuse this! Just the way i felt at the time, probably just cause i "feel" KDramas more than american shows~
