well the drama is good for me but it lacked some development of bonding among weapon spirits how they are living…
I agree and maybe this was why I couldn't relate or connect to a lot of the side characters especially the weapon spirits--this was such an integral part of the storyline but I feel like it fell short because of it.
I wanted to love this because I love Xianxia and LXY but for some reason it just felt like it was missing something,…
I can relate. Like Soocrafty mentioned, it is missing that "oomph" factor that I was also looking for. This drama had so much going for it and so much potential to be a 10/10 but fell short on some of the side storylines and character development.
You feel that way, but I don't feel the same way. I like the calm, thoughtful, reflective moments contrasted with…
Too bad I don't share the same opinion as you about the drama. You don't need to feel sad or get so philosophical in every comment. It's honestly not that deep. Hopefully there will others that will be better
On ep. 21 but does it get any better??? This is sadly another Liu Sue Yi drama that I am comtemplating on dropping yet again. Brother needs to get better scripts. Already thru half and I don't get excited about what's to come as I do on certain other dramas.
Story started off well and had tons of potential but so far as it progresses it gets more and more flat. The whole spirit weapon stories I feel could have been better fleshed out or integrated more profoundly so that it doesn't feel like it's dragging the story. And I think that's the problem. Throughout the whole entire series so far, there hasn't been any build up--a steady flat line on a graph.
Love the FL and ML as actors and also love me an anti-hero story but this directing is horrible. I really want to love this drama but it doesn't make me excited for what's to come unfortunately.
