But i really hate michelle chen's tilted head due to her heavy fringe.

he did not go for the gao kao (university entrance exam) in the end which determined which university he can go into. because his dad died and his uncle dragged him to work instead.
He is like a cut queue student into the year to get revise and get ready for the entrance exam

I have watch this FL and ML in many dramas. FL used to act weak in other dramas and mostly cliche storyline, but in this, she is much stronger. She is so graceful.

My hear nearly dropped when the little shizhi was killed. Reminds me of Bailu's 2 drama dying style. :P

Overall, ending v well paced. HE!

1. He was moving FL's things out when he found the contract and confronted her.
2. I didnt see any clear answer, but both of them being angry and full of pride, prob don't know how to answer; to spite or be truthful.
- the FL said to break up and go out experience other love 10yrs ago, so the guy harped on it and use this to provoke her sometimes

For me, I find this ending beautiful. As the story unfolds, the ML and FL showed what they went through and how deep the love was.. Unlike many mainstream dramas.
They were quite doomed from the day they fell in love with each other and the sacrifices made.
So it made v good sense and leave a deep impression when they died for who they love.
N they did not even acknowledge their child so that she can live a simple and happy life.

Contrary, if it was a HE with the 3 of them living together.. It wld be just like another show.. Everyone is omnipotent and never dying.

Just my thoughts.

I watched it in Chinese raw. FL's cousin told her something had protected her heart and she realised she had half the lian li zhi, thats why she didnt die.
So she killed herself and her evil bro also died just as he was ascending to claim the throne, as he had the other half in him.
But he died, to join her... Like tan taijin and Ye Xiwu.

Both died. The ending was very well paced and you don't feel wtf just happened type. The last scene of them was very meaningful and beautiful.

If you want quick love, intense kissing, no misunderstandings, no 3rd party, etc
Maybe should watch the short 10min dramas or hop over to Kdrama which is usually half the amt of episodes. At leasts they may not be as torturing?

Though its 20episode.. But in Reel life, it is very short only. They are taking their time to know each other.

1 is ego by nature, 1 is a workaholic. They r not some young lover, but yet clueless about love.

Every set of lovers in real life have a story to tell. And these 3 set of CP also have their own right to drag their lovers chase and misunderstandings as long as they want!
