Anyone that read the original webtoon & watch the drama adaptation? Because I've read a few chapters & watched ep1, and they're totally on different vibe...the webtoon are so slow in development, I dont really know where it's going, i'm at chapter 18. but a glimpse of episode 2 make me wonder if they totally reconstruct the plot...
My experience of Jdorama was never been about discovering them thru idol but rather discovering idols thru jdorama. I started watching asian drama in general since I was really young, starting with HK drama with my aunties. a few years later we got jdorama on national tv with the legendary drama Osin. later in college, when I had times, jdorama was my pass time fav activity and then I saw Gokusen with Matsujun. Later, Gokusen with the 2 KAT-TUN members. then Hana Yori Dango. One of the most memorable drama that sucked me in was Nobuta who Produce. It still is my fav drama of all time (see my dp). Like you said, knowing Johnny's are like 6 degree of separation. You found 1, you'll find the rest. My first was KimuTaku but I didn't know he was with SMAP until much much later. So I will always think Matsujun & Arashi as my first love of Johnny LOL. ironically, I'm not a fan of him and more into Massu from NewS. i saw heysayjump as lovely kouhai but that was the ending of my interest of them. later I went into kdrama & kpop. I do still watch jdorama and occasionally watch jdorama because of them tho...
if, just if & god forbid, bae doona decide not to continue her role, we need more than "concrete" actor to replace her.not just anyone...so she need to accept it for season 2!!

I hope so! i watched S1 just recently and when I saw takeuchi ryouma i felt excited but seeing him as as a supporting character, i was wondering if the drama was before he became popular. then i saw S1 was in 2016, so no wonder...

If we get 2 episode per year it'll be the best tho. i cant get enough of the two leads
