watched 1st episode and saw a familiar face but can't remember her name.
found out it's Z Hera. she was quite good in Scarlet Ryo. unfortunately her role here even smaller than that...
and Seo Ji Hoon. Please give him a good background story. he didn't even get a line in the first episode...
a lot of dramas and movie has based Hwanseong Serial Murders for their storyline. Gap Dong, Signal, Tunnel, Memory of a murderer, to name a few. Signal is just a brilliant combination of cases that link two police officers career & life with time traveling through a walkie talkie. it was awesome!
The first reason is dumb tho. It's a fact that Korea spends a lot more money with plastic surgeries and makeup,…
agreed. most newbies are like this. if you've watched more drama in your life, you'll tend to seek good acting rather than good face who act like a stiff wood log.
I've been watching j-dorama far longer than k-drama. don't really agree with all the other reasons because it's a matter of taste except reason 5 & 6.
When stressed, i choose to avoid watching anything close to life so most of the j-dorama is a no-no. k-drama has a lot the over the top, cheesy lines with hilarious taste to it. tho, i avoid any melo & makjang k-drama too.
when i'm looking for some insight or inspiration, j-dorama is better than k-drama. way better, in my opinion.
as far as i've been watching j-dorama, romance is totally not their best genre. they always draw a definite line where to stop with skinships or kisses, it makes me mad sometimes. but well, it's their culture, they're more reserve. Korea is definitely more westernize than Japan.
one more reason i refuse to watch j-dorama or even j-movie sometimes is because they keep casting the same actor, especially young actors. i dont know how many casting news i read having the same actor/actress to play in different movies. I get fed-up & confused because you see A in one movie than A again in another, playing a different character the same way. Tho, for solid actor like Eita, Oguri Shun or Ueno Juri, I've no complain.
as a fan of asian drama, i've never considered choosing k-drama over j-dorama. i do watch k-drama more than j-dorama because of their availability. some j-dorama has no subs at all, if not the usual some period of waiting. k-drama, on the other hand, got sub faster & even the shallowest content got subbed.
oh, my heart broke seeing dda bong like that. please sail the ship, please!!
i think now, i can accept the father & son rivalry in this drama. dda bong is the 1993 hyun jae, before he dates bo hee, so he can falls in love with anyone he like.
looks like the drama using the parallel world concept, or it wouldnt make sense at all.
quick question who's kid does Mal Sook belong to? or her parents aren't around and she's Lee Soon…
mal sook is soon tae's granddaughter. she is the child of his daughter, who used to live in the rooftop before ji hoon & if not mistaken, she died. it was revealed in the previous episode.
I had a hope that something good may happen..till episode 10.. i dont know why!! Its just good hope..i have seen…
I'm with you girl. I saw the lead actress in Hormones the Series & she has pretty decent acting & when I knew that she's gonna lead here, automatically I can picture her as the goofy-ShinChaeKyung. episode 1, I was disappointed. urghhh!
the actor playing Nakhun is totally a miscast! what-are-they-thinking? no offense but let's get real! except for smiling, what else can he do?
the romance also comes out of nowhere. since we watched the original, we know why & what made Shin falls for her but in this, it was all over the place.
the lady? she was more a flirty sexy aunt rather than an elegant noble lady as we see in Goong.
don't even mention the kiss... I'm lost all hope with it. whatever angle & camera trick they're trying, the viewer won't be happy.
sorry to rant on your comment tho~ hahaha...

anyway thanks~!
would try Utsubokazura no Yume because for Shida Mirai, Hello Harinezumi for Eita & Fukada Kyoko.

please writer-nim, dont mess up my ship...
i love the 'kid's makjang' between grandpa & Shin Hwa, it's hilarious!!!
