IDK... I don't think drama that well received by already-kdrama-watcher will attract non-watcher. I know a few non kdrama fans that watched thriller & mystery like Tunnel, Solomon perjury & Signal. it's definitely the matter of taste.
I'm confused about the parent thing though, Hyun Jae does not seem to have feelings for Bo Hee, and he doesn't…
from what i see, the production seems to try anything to confuse viewer. from hyun jae, we didn't see like he care at all about bo hee except in friendly way. we would normally think that they have something if ji hoon is his son as per synopsis. however, when bo hee kissed him, he looked shocked.
bo hee on the other hand is so in love with him. whether it's one sided or not, we still dont know.
I think that ji hoon is not hyun jae's son; whether bo hee was drunk when she slept with someone or whatever. but the show is trying so hard to make us believe that ji hoon is his son; showing us that they got the same allergy, the way they sleep etc.
in a way, this show is one hell of confusion & complicated.
can anyone explain me in detail the relation of the family and who is that small kid
ji hoon is bo hee's son with hyun jae. looking at his surname, I think he was registered as kwang jae's son since hyun jae disappeared. but bo hee and kwang jae is not married to each other.
the old man is the company CEO, no blood relationship with them.
the small kid is still a mystery tho. who is she? in episode 1, she denied that kwang jae is her dad. that is as far as the relationship explained in the drama.
I think I've found my new crack drama♡, it's hitting all the right notes for me, well, except bo hee…
i have the same problem with the note book. why did it appear at both timeline? if hyun jae took it to 2017 with him, then how come Young jae has it in his safe?
it boggles my mind to consider that hyun jae came to the future from 1993 & able to go back, then, somehow falls in love with bo hee, thus ji hoon exist. and in 1994 he disappeared again, it doesn't make sense to me.
i watched this in two days. that was one hell of interesting drama.
i just wish there's more hint of romance in between.
and i want a second season.
this is a must watch for books lover.
so far, I'm not disappointed yet.
OST was good. the sound effect was on point (this is all Yoo PD's work, i think)
the cameo keeping popping out of nowhere, it's funny.
from my observation: pardon my humble opinion.
-korean hanakimi= this drama give the definition of flop down to a different level. it was not even near the original at all, in term of lead's acting. it was a waste of rookie actors. go see who are the supporting actors in this, they're now all big names.
-hana yori dango= nothing can compare to japanese version & taiwan version. they're the total hits. korean version had a large scale of budget but lacked of solid acting from leads.
full house=the thai version was not bad but it found the pacing for each episode was so slow, unlike the original (which is already quite the melancholy pace near the ending)
i haven't see any western remake of any Asian drama yet, though i watch a bunch of english series.
in the US, from what i've seen, a lot of series which was not successful stuck with 1 season only. if it has huge popularity, it would definitely made into 2nd season etc.
AND with our korean drama, especially, it was rare that a successful drama got another season.
that's the problem. if a story for 1 season dragged to a few seasons & adding a whole of rubbish until it becomes another drama/story altogether, is a total waste of time for drama fans.
I keep patient and dont want to watch step by step episod because i want to download all the episod. While im…
have you watch the original? if not, I suggest you watch that one first. if you already watch it before, try rewatched it again. then, try the 1st episode of this and decide whether to continue or not.
A really good drama. Highly recommended. The acting, directing & plot are amazing, but you need to excuse the writer, who I think dont really understand the butterfly effect theory.
they're seniors this season, right? looking forward to this!

in the end, a remake? YES!
