I have read some comments and just realized probably most people that watch BLs especially toxic ones like this are either immature(both age wise and mentally) or acting ignorant. i mean, it's okay to hate what the character is doing rn, I also thought it was not necessary, but saying Joe shouldn't end up with Ming is delulu cause they the main leads. like just drop it now then cause they will end up together. y'all can't seriously think life is all lovey-dovey. this shit is realistic! Man, maybe I am the problem, I really enjoy watching realistic shows with toxicity and angst like this once a while, as long as it's not too extreme, it shows some directors actually got the assignment! as long as there would be a redemption arc, which I would absolutely love, I WANT MORE! and tbh, I hate none of the main leads rn. I love them both so much even with the flaws.
