I really wanted to like Still Shining, but it just didn’t work for me. The story feels slow and repetitive, with little real progress in the plot. The emotional scenes seem forced rather than natural, making it hard to truly connect with the characters.
While the cinematography is beautiful and the cast did a decent job, the writing is the main issue. The characters lack depth, and their decisions often feel frustrating or unrealistic. I found myself losing interest quickly instead of getting invested.
Overall, Still Shining had potential, but the weak pacing and unconvincing emotions made it disappointing. 5/10
