AH poor Du Sik :C Not sure what happened to him. I have some thoughts about it, but he's not a Doctor anyway, we can rule that one out, being an Engineer grad. The more that's revealed the more intriguing he gets. That dream scene was not what I was expecting, but terrifying for poor Du Sik.
Genuinely loved the banter between DS and Sung Hyun :"D I hope they develop more of a bromance thing than a bitter rivalry. If Lee Sang Yi ever feels like doing a Mukbang youtube I would totally watch it :L
The flashback scene from Hye Jins younger days explains a bit more why she is like she is. I don't find her rude, rather more defensive, she's quick to draw her personal boundaries and I don't blame her honestly. I like that she works through her thoughts and apologises when she thinks she's wrong. I think honesty is probably a big thing for her which will be why she might get hung up on Du Sik lying about the kiss. I think Du Sik may be half thinking he's protecting her and half not wanting to let himself fall deeper.
I can see some wires getting crossed in the next episode 😭 I hope their disagreements don't last long because omg they're adorable. The ocean scene was so cute! 😍
I'm going to guess he wasn't at the Psychiatric clinic for an appointment? He didn't look like he needed to be there for a certain time. He just looked like he was passing by. Maybe he worked there, or his late parents did. I wouldn't be surprised if he has some kind of rich city background given his wine tasting expertise and foreign language ability. I was going to say he was too dressed up for a medical appointment, but then again, Hye Jin did say he had terrible fashion :L maybe he was proving a point that he does have fashion taste.
Yo I'm here for this drama. The guy checking his passport in EP1 killed me, "which Zo clan are you from?" LOL! I have only watched 1 episode so far, but plan on watching the 2nd in a bit.
(Also, small thing, but I really like the opening credits)
Saw the preview for this and was intrigued, honestly, it looks really good, Kim So Hyun looks amazing in particular! (Also, Kang Ha Neul is rocking the angry brooding dad look lol)
This is a show, so far, that I totally didn't expect to get addicted to. It has just the right amount of drama without getting boring or too over the top. I hope it continues in the same way!
If it wasn't for the latter episodes I think I'd have scored this higher which is a shame. There's just a lot that didn't make sense near the end, even for a drama like this that wasn't taking itself too seriously, it still needs to... you know, have some believability. Episode 16 was a trainwreck tbh. I'd of killed him myself if he turned up years later like "lol I'm not dead" Jun pleaseee that isn't romantic that's freaking traumatic. She actually lived thinking you were dead it's not funny boyo.
Still, the acting was good, the music was nice and I enjoyed the middle part the most. I'd personally give this an average 7/10. It starts okay, the middle part is great and the ending is just a trainwreck.
this is pretty much my feeling on this drama. I was so looking forward to the sister story, I'm genuinely sad this disintegrated into a love triangle drama. I was really hoping we were going to get a refreshing story about two young women kicking it in the business world. About family trauma and the different circumstances in life people start from.
I don't really know what the writers' aim is in this other than to introduce as much conflict as possible and resolve none of it? I waited until Ep.11 to vent my frustration in case the show took a different turn, and I still hope it does, because I want that Won In Jae/Dal Mi story :"C
I started this thinking "oh nice cute drama to fill some time" not expecting much... what is this angst fest?! I wasn't meant to be this invested ఠ_ఠ the awkward romance that I feel like I'm intruding on by watching :'D Like seriously JK and HH better buzz off my awkward ice cream couple that I am now fiercely protective over :"|
Ahhh it's nearly time :[ It has been an absolute pleasure reading this comment section and interacting with the Okay fam! I hope to see you elsewhere too ♥︎
AHHH just caught up on Ep.15 and damn Ep.16 better start off where Ep.15 finished :| I need the full extended version please thanks (;¬_¬)
My fav scenes from today: 1. Sang Tae saving the day! I'm so proud of his character development. 2. Gang Tae giving Mang Tae to Moon Young when she was having a nightmare <3 3. The tables turning on Gang Tae with the SARANGHAE scene :'D Like damn how he even whips his jacket off in annoyance lmao 4. The parallel scene with the child actors was so good! 5. Kim Soo Hyun in a white shirt, rolled up sleeves and black pants. *cough*
Whilst I'm still not sure how the heck MY mother survived that fall (a lot of her story still needs more clarity I feel) I'm holding out for hopefully the missing puzzle piece in Ep.16. I can't believe there's only one more episode :C

Wishing that tomorrow would be Saturday 😭
In any case, he's an enigma that's for sure lol
Along with Red Sky my Sat - Tue evenings are turning out great 😍

I found another good English explanation of the folktale, I'll share it here
