I mean without a doubt thus far they've had the best dates with chemistry. Ep 8 felt like they were actually dating. BUT, happy endings dont usually happen with HS from past seasons. S2 was a shocker but I got over it. Also, we have yet to see MYxYS unedited+future dates.

Believe it or not, this can be another chapter of 5cm per Second ending.

more drama xD this is way more exciting than a similar dating show "secret man and woman" same concept no drama... and you get a daon in there just no hangyeol but some of their secrets are wtf

Sorry for the confusion. What I mean is that prior to the voting scene he remained silent (and yes it would've given him the advantage so im glad we are on the same page here) . So he remained silent and only after the voting is done thats when he told Daon about his intentions.

Getting back to your statement.

So how is he not mischievous when he created a mess and only after the voting he decides to tell Daon. From your statement, I interpret it as - when Daon comes home Hangyeol says "Hi I'm sorry for not waking Taeyang up... go clear things up with Taeyang... We cool ?"

So what did happen after voting? Hangyeol tells her that he is interested in her and that he purposely didn't wake Taeyang up, for her sake, because if he wakes her up he really cares about her. So how is Taeyang going to wake her up if Hangyeol aint gonna wake him up? I know I wouldnt if I was Hangyeol but I'd approach it differently. Like pretend to be asleep or say that I have to gym really early in the morning.

Why didn't Hangyeol wake her up? Did Daon tell him to? Did Taeyang tell him if so why didn't he wake Taeyang up? How did he know about the wake up? Daon left a note on Taeyang's bed... did he read Daon's private note to Taeyang? can you see the dilemma here as to why he chose not to.

Hangyeol admitted his wrong doings right after the voting phase which should've given him the advantage to receive a vote/letter from Daon after all that chaos. Sounds mischievous to me. If he said it when Hanu apologised i'd take it back but chose to stay silent and this was before the voting.

Yes, I agree you... as you dont go to a dating show to help someone with the same interest. But if you sabotage someones relationship for your own interest - its scheming which is what the OP is trying to point out and to stay away from. Seulbi and Daon had every reason to choose him as #1 but didn't - I wonder why...

Either way, Hangyeol is making this interesting.

Let me rephrase what Hangyeol told Daon. "I'm interested in you. Taeyang is going to confess his love to you, but I'm gonna kidnap him before he makes a move"

What you said is facts but its all about the timings. When he could've said it, when he said it and what events occurred before that.

I agree with IndianChief69 comments after watching ep8-9. The producers are already making him suss as hell that its obvious.

But then I rewatched a scene and I may have solved the mystery. It makes total sense now that I think about it. Harumichi is not a coward nor did he runaway!

The answer I got is one word and it relates to a scene. I'll let you figure it out because if you do, you be more satisfied. If you don't, well either I suck or just let it be a mystery. It really depends on how you interrupt it.

Here is one hint:
Harumichi has a chat with Tsuzuru.

Well, he never replied to her confession but instead wished her all the best as he told her that he will be going abroad. Harumichi never confessed as time went on so Yae doesn't know what Harumichi is thinking.

From my perspective, Harumichi loves Yae but not the present Yae without memories of the past. He cannot bring up the past because of the guilt he has due to the accident. So the only way for Harumichi to confess his feelings was for Yae to remember the past and obviously to find Harumichi.

I don't know why you think that about Hangyeol wanting to go with Dahae and Chansol? just before revealing the picks he said "I wish you two don't end up going on the trip together".

You said it yourself. He is strategic. I bet he thought Daon would've chosen him and i'm pretty sure she doesnt like Hanu after ep9.

Towards the end of ep9 Hangyeol also tried to breakup Chansol & Dahae by "casually suggesting to go on the trip with him instead". If you recap to day 1 it makes sense. So with no votes and the girls didn't choose him as #1 pref for the trip - I'm curious what his next step might be. I'm surprised the panelist havent picked up on Hangyeol mo.

Haneul chose Hangyeol as #1 pref. If she think's Hanu is bad... oh boy. Haneul is like 4th pref for Hangyeol. Meanwhile Taeyang's place her as #1 pref and for that reason I'm rooting for him.

After watching Hangyeol picking Daon as first pick and ends up with Hanui - I must say you deserve it. Hanu/Taeyang they are just being men... but Hangyeol...

I kind of feel sorry for Haneul though. Would like to see more chemistry between her and Taeyang and see if she accepts his secret.

This show is interesting and I think its only 8eps. It's basically a date which includes a sleep over. You can also have more than one date to sleep over with and anyone can leave if they wish if they are not interested.

One part was funny as hell. I mean, taking a first date to a burger joint. That's something not to do during a first date. But theres more, a nap in the car and to make matters worse at night the guy took all the room on the bed and the girl had to sleep on the floor. But wait... theres more. He also took all the blanket during the night. This is how a 10/10 guy went to 0/10 just over night.

I felt Min and Kun Uk had no chemistry at all. It was just Kun Uk being passive aggressive to be chosen and Min was the most vulnerable out of the group. (Kun Uk & Min movie night scene) When Kun Uk said that he already decided but it's a secret yet makes a hand gesture pointing to her - it was the deciding moment. Yet, she did say if he still has any interests in Minha that she'll back out. So why didn't he mention that after his date with Minha that they'll go out after and have dinner? Kun Uk didn't choose Minha because she never directly said she was into him and only thanked him for the dates (that to me is like Yena thanking Ji Yu for the dates). Minha choose to open his door because of the dinner promise too. Both got played in the end as Taewoong would put it... "Your Trash!"

Minha's situation was unfortunate. She was interested in Gunuk & SH. SH was also keen on Minha at the start too. If I was the PD, I'd focus at least 1 date Minha & SH / Taewoong and YH.

Taewoong speaking his mind with Yena! The only time she didnt smile. Priceless!!!

If it was between SH, Minha and Yena maybe it'd be a different story. As Taewoong stated, theres no way SH would choose Yena.

6eps way too short especially if they got to choose their dates. At least have them rotate to each one in the beginning to break the barrier.

Yena & SH were playing feetzy under the table. That to me is well beyond holding hands. Yena also took off her ring... So overall, I think SH tought Yena was committed and the next thing was to get some sort of confirmation (Holding hands..? apparently not!). Feels scripted because the PD wanted that as a finale which most dating shows do. Nothing against Ji Yu, but even if Yena had to choose someone else Taewoong would be a better choice.
