I feel like in this show, it’s the spoken and unspoken words. Some of the words they spoke flew by so quickly I had to rewind and savor it! And subtle actions that, imo, only those experienced can catch. I think since ep 1 GQF already fell for her, but was respectful because she was “engaged.” This is not idol drama. It is romantic indeed. Just look at how they looked at each other right!?

OuYangXu reminded me of Hikaru No Go - Chu Ying, acted by Zhang Chao, at first glance! A bit feminine look. The actor Xu Hai Qiao pic on MDL is horrendous. I watched ADoS live promo (8 actors) on YT and he looks very different. Also, he said he didn’t want to act this role, but bcos it’s his nu sheng, he accepted the role to act with LYF. He is a total fan boy of LYF.
IMO, cast, costumes, and storyline makes a drama worthy to watch or not. An actor who can make us love or hate them makes them a good actor. I feel bad when actors are criticized for being ugly. I hope we all can appreciate the hard work they put into their art/work.
