tbh i think the ending makes sense, although, it was a bit rushed. if they switched back in ep 15, maybe we would have more closure for ep 16. also all the deaths that do jun wanted to prevent ended up happening (his mom, the grandpa, his own death), so it doesnt make sense for do jun to be the only one that avoids his death.
i think it was actually p satisfying for it to come full circle since hyunwoo witnessed do jun's death and was able to get justice for it
