As much as I liked actors, plot and all, the ending disappointed me badly. They could have made it much better, now I just feel like I have wasted time on it.

That's what I've thought. Like, I like Goblin as a drama, I like characters and just everything, but as a romance it wasn't that good. There were lots of better romance dramas in 2017. Shame none of them get as much attention.

I must say I enjoyed this drama, enough to be able to finish, even if with few breaks between episodes. My first drama with hospital theme, and also first with vampires. Although I didn't like it all that much, I gave this drama 8/10. First reason, no matter how cruel it sounds, is because of Joo Hyun Woo death. I was so fond of him, I think he might have been my favorite character here, and his death left me in tears. It's normal for me to often cry on movies, but this one moment left me in tears for a whole hour, seriously. Making me cry that much always deserves being rewarded.
Second thing that made me raise this drama rating is the ending which left me in thoughts. I think it's a metaphore. In my theory she actually died there, killed by the infected ones. The moment when they join hands probably means that after her death they can again be together, in afterlife this time.
