I loved alll the captains in SDC a lot as well.
Their interactions were gold! I couldve watched them bicker for hours without any dancing, as much as I loved the dancing, Its almost like the captains were the main highlight for me this time, which i think is amazing because they at least dont leave until the show is over XD. And the nicknames and idiom wars were so entertaining <33 Made me want to learn mandarin quickly XD. So sad its over now :(.
Which contestants in SDC did you especially root for?

Honestly can't remember yet, I must have suppressed the memory cos of the pain XD. Will get back to you on that tho :). Well if Jackson didn't get much screen time then at least that kinda explains why I didn't get much of an impression of him here :/

That's true, I guess :'(. They do do it with pretty much every survival show, which is just so sad. But at least in some other shows, the obvious one doesn't always win. But here, from the start, I never for a moment doubted that Xukun would win, so it was just a painful experience whenever I actually liked a contestant and knew all along they would soon have to go because they just weren't so popular :(

I SO agree! I have this thing that when someone is super popular, I start to like them less, especially if I feel like they get preferential treatment - no matter how insignificant - because of it. And from the beginning Cai Xukun was sooooo damn popular and got so much screen time compared to many others, and to be honest, I still do not understand why. Also, what's with those lenses he wears. They look like some cheap halloween prop tbh.

Watching episode 7. I'm not usually so annoyed by a more meek and timid female lead, but this one is just a literal pushover. The guy's maturity level is at negative 9900000 and the fact that she still tries so frickin hard to please him is just so damn stupid. She is so pathetic watching her hurts my soul so deeply. Hope she gets at least some character development if not a complete character swap. I sure as hell dont intend to watch 40+ episodes of her so desperately cling on to a person who treats her the worst for such a ridiculous reason. I cant even feel sorry for her when she cries and/or whines 99.99% of all her screen time. Like, please have some self-respect.
I realise i complain too much about this one character when literally every single one of the characters in this show is so poorly written it makes me question why the hell im still watching this.

I don't know why but i find his acting so convincing.

When will he star in another drama? He acts so well.

I agree that the FL's actress tends to overact. I liked the first actress that played her, so I'm kinda disappointed with the face-changing because of that. Hope she switches back sooner rather than later.
