This show didnt start to pick up until ep 8.. I actually liked episode 9. BUT everything is happening so suddenly b/c they didnt take the time to establish the couples in ep 1-7.. those eps are almost throw aways. The story feels like it only just started and there is ONE more episode.

I did a lot of loud "WHAT" while watching this ep haha

I know right. I got it for the first season and then they keep adding shorts and now they are starting to pick up Thai shows!!.. I cancelled other streaming platforms.. just need gagaoolala and viki at this point lol

what! Does viki region block specific shows for specific countries?? What country to you live in (just curious)??

Okay this really needed to be a bl (I know the manga was, but I haven't read it). For even a bromance the relationship between them was underdeveloped.. if there would have been a romance between them it would have had a bigger emotional punch.

I mean the few scenes they worked together they are pretty intimate... it needed that PUNCH with feelings. Just felt like they wanted to remove the bl romance elements but weren't able to replace it with anything else impactful to tie the men together throughout the movie.

I thought the story was super interesting, but slightly missing the mark.. just felt like it was missing something.

I kinda wish it was made into a bl series instead of a movie.

any updates of when they are gonna eventually officially release it for the rest of us??

Yeah totally. I thought all the pairings were pretty cute, but since they couldn't really be developed they should have cut a few of them. Like the basketball couple.. what even was that? They were cute, but where was the story really? Everything was just spread too thin.

Pretty sure covid lockdowns also messed things up towards the end .. episode 15 was JUST phones calls for the most part.

Yeah. I haven't watched the directors cut yet, but I believe its supposed to make more sense. I think this had to do with the network that aired it in Thailand (I think Brothers was the same actually.. the network cutting IMPORTANT story elements).

I agree. After episode 15 I was like VERY concerned that it was still an issue. It should have come out a few episodes before the finale and then there could have been episodes of them as a couple maybe or Simai dealing with the aftermath of being lied to. Just too many episodes for it to end like this.

I personally wouldn't mind seeing some of these actors in something else, but yeah this was just a mess.

I was mostly interested in Lukmo and Simai. I wanted to see where that went.. but based on what people have said in the comments I dont even know if its worth me watching the last episode anyways. Bummer.

JUST out of all the Thai region blocked shows it's weird they would pick THIS ONE.. like the majority of us kept watching b/c we NEEDED to and not because we WANTED to.. lol

Although if you have your vpn on thailand VIU should work. Some vpns work better on different sites... so maybe you just need to change to a different vpn (I have one I pay for but it doesnt work on wetv.. so annoying.. but then I have a free one that does... so I switch between them)

I think so.. I remember after I watched I am your king I remember reading the comments saying they were already together for a few years before it aired.

Seems like there are a lot of different info floating around. I noticed they started region blocking earlier episodes last week and then suddenly the LAST episode is region blocked. One person shared a tweet that said it was getting picked up by Gagaoolala (which.. why.. out of the different region blocked Thai shows.. this would NOT be the one I picked if I was in charge at gagaoolala..). Not sure what's true. If you have a vpn and set it to thailand you can watch the last episode.

I think the situation in Thailand really messed this series up. Later episodes really suffered and I haven't seen the finale yet, but it sounds like they didnt really give good closure to anyone. So if you decided to pick it up just go in knowing that.

Another person shared a tweet saying that gagaoolala was picking it up. if that's true.. WHY?! it completely went off the rails. I mean did I watch every week.. yes.. but still...
