Yeah the subs were awful and they chopped it up a bunch so the story sometimes didnt make sense... but I'm interested to see if the directors cut with good subs will make a huge difference

I've been waiting to join their patreon and maybe with this show it's time. They always have good subtitles and I know they subbed the uncut version of Friend Forever (which the official subtitles were a mess! and all the cut made the story slightly weird pacing).

the trailer made me think he's just supposed to LOOK older and then gets teased and bullied b/c of it.. and not that he's actually older in the series

I find that pretty disappointing. I haven't watched it yet though. I feel like b/c this was based on bl and then it was pushed as bl (maybe it wasn't in Japan? I dont know) but then it ends up not... is ugh upsetting.

lol yeah doubtful... probably the regular 10-15 minutes long. I will be OVERJOYED if I'm wrong though. But that fact that they are finally giving us 16 episodes... one day we might get 30 minute episodes. One day...

Hate to be a downer b/c I'm super excited about this, but the episodes are totally gonna be 10-15 minutes long... we finally will get 16 episodes though. Korea is SUPER conservative and pretty homophobic (I'm talking as a society/government ... not like individuals ya know). I'm hoping eventually with more Korean Bl's being made we will one day get 16, 30 minute episodes. But dont expect that now and then get super bummer when they are short.

They spent practically the whole 2 episodes apart and then to just come together with a proposal... felt kinda like a throw away to me. I wish those episodes were instead used to show how the public interrupts them dating each other after having a reality show together and stuff. How they deal with being a relationship out in the open. He just goes to America for 3 months and comes back and is magically loved again by the public?
