I am not entirely happy with XY’s father. Xuan was just a kid and he kept blaming himself for not picking up XY. But the major blame was her dad although he did it with the intention to keep her safe. I don’t like the scene where Xuan blamed himself and daddy seemed to be rather “sympathetic” but looked contented to have someone share the blame for “losing” XY

1. What will happen to XY’s half sister? Will she continue to mistreat XY?
2. Will Xuan treat her half sister better than XY since he has been spoiling her much longer compared to his brief time spent with XY?

I didn’t finish the novel but would it be right to say that in the novel, XL and TSJ/17 love XY selflessly compared to CX who love her but in less selfless manner? Or is he the one who will sacrifice the most for her to have true happiness?

I wanted to like CX coz he misses growing up with her and he longs for her so much… at times his gazes on her seem so deep and profound. But his inability to recognize her and inflicting pain upon her is difficult to watch

Yes indeed you are right. Its too bad that he couldn’t tell when they had spent so much time but maybe they didn’t spend those time in close proximity so she didn’t get to blush at his comments or actions.

Too bad…. Probably partly CX and 17 realized it coz they were focusing on her and the present whereas CX was too focused on mission (as highlighted above in other comments) and the past her.

I thought she is upset at her father coz he divorced his wife/her mom, causing separation to the family….

She knows she is the princess of Hao Ling. Just that she doesn’t remember her face. But again, she forgot her face when she was a child so I wonder whether she will regain her true adult face.

Anyway she didn’t want to reveal anything to TSJ coz she wants to hide her real self forever from everyone and she still doesn’t know TSJ knows her gender.

I have a few questions:
1) How did 17 know her real gender? Is it because he is a deity?
2) Both XL and 17 know her gender but CX doesn’t know. Isn’t he a deity too?
