Surprisingly for me, this drama has deep stories of many different characters including the bad guys. These stories really make you focus on the plot and I never got bored while binge-watching this. Love story is subtle and not the main plot, which was also good.
There aren't too many different cases which they solve, which is also good. Otherwise it would feel like CSI or similar shows... This one focuses on psychological aspects of the characters and main investigation keeps going on throughtout all episodes.
Another plus is the cameo performance of the guy from Prison Playbook (the one with lisp) - he was brilliant here!
Making a medical drama takes a lot of work, so kudos for the execution and effort. The end of life issues are complex…
Agreed, the last 2 episodes ruined this for me too. The rest was almost 9 to me, but with that ending it went down to 7.5. Too bad, I really enjoyed the rest.
And thank you for pointing out high heels debacle!!!
For me the ending was ok... somehow fitting and didn't surprise me at all. This was a nice drama focusing on father-daughter relationship where you can skip a lot of boring medical/bad guys scenes.
He is still sick. He keeps forgetting each day - he even forgot their wedding so they keep repeating it in hopes he remembers it at some point. Quite depressing ending for me, even though they tried to make it light... I keep thinking he won't be able to remember anything that they experience together... and what if they have kids...
am i having dejavu i thought it was 40 episodes from the start
Thanks for replying. It must be my mistake, since I've googled it and couldn't find any news about extension, so I guess it was 40 ep all along. But I feel so weird since I could almost swear I saw 32 the last time I've checked :)
I really liked this drama. Baek Beom character reminded me a bit of Dr. House, but Baek has his own color and story. I saw Jung Jae Young in Duel where he was amazing, so he was the only reason why I gave this drama a shot, and I'm glad I did. His acting is just perfect, and entire story is nicely written with good side characters. I did fast forward some of the cases, since they were boring at times, but the main story kept me going.
I usually look for romance in every drama, so the fact that I liked this so much even though there is no romance is huge for me.
I started this drama right when it got aired. And i shouldn't,because now i have to wait every week for new episodes.…
Same thoughts here... This is only the second drama I've watched while it's airing (and I've watched hundreds of k-dramas), and it's as bad as the last time. Week long wait is just not worth it and then 2 episodes are so little time :( I recommend everyone to wait and binge watch it!
OK I'm all about fluff and cheesiness. I may be the minority here however this drama did not reel me in. Imo its…
I agree with you. I was bored through most of this drama, but didn't want to drop it. It just got worse and worse towards the end. I ended up giving it a 4.5. There's no real story here, no big plot, unexpected events or anything! I was really annoyed with 9 years of being a slave and then forgiving everything in the sake of love. Cheabol was too much... I've seen many dramas and there were so many lovable cheabols but this one I hated from start to end. That much narcissism was just too much for me. I didn't see chemistry either, it really looked like two professional actors doing their jobs well to me. I guess too many kiss scenes do that, I can't get excited if every other episode has a kiss in it... I even ended up fast-forwarding kiss scenes along with the rest to finish this drama :)
This started so good and then got boring around middle with main focus on fighting the hotel restaurant with cooking battles. The ending then killed it completely, since only the main couple story was finished but nothing else. They invested so much time and made such interesting characters so they really deserved their stories to be told in the end :(
I wanted to give it a 9 when I first started, but ended up with 6.5 which is quite disappointing.
Misleading title - has nothing to do with ghosts.
