OK, I'm seeing a bunch of updates in the cast list. Like Mook Worranit is here? And so are Mam Kat, Kob? These are One31 regulars and in the past updates I've made, I haven't seen them in any of the IG promo/production photos.
I hope someone's not making a cast wishlist here. I also saw Mark Prin for instance in Nuer Nai's cast list, but I haven't seen a single Tweet/IG post supporting that.
As expected, this and The Gifted were nominated in some awards show in Thailand.https://www.instagram.com/p/ByLHuCrAiKO/
Neither this nor The Gifted won in their respective categories in the recent Nataraja Awards (said to be the most prestigious entertainment awards in Thailand). But it's the first time for GMMTV to have their dramas nominated. (Pompam has been nominated several times for his talk show, and I believe "Lipsync Battle Season 1" was nominated as well.)
Too bad though, Pluem didn't manage to snag a nomination for Best Actor, or even the likes of Noom (an award-winning actor in his own right, and played Chet, Tonmai and Thannam's father) or Namfon (Orn, Tonmai's mother) got a nomination for supporting roles. I hope GMMTV dramas will get recognition like this in the future. (It's one thing to have the fans, it's another thing to win the critics over.)
They dragged the mother-son plot until the penultimate episode. I expect the resolution to be crammed next week, unless they do a la "Happy Birthday" wherein the finale ran for 3 hours.
No "Boy for Rent" today, as One31 will do a marathon of Baifern-Push's drama instead.https://www.instagram.com/p/B0WxuFOnc3C/?igshid=fpz2alo4p7zsThe…
It turns out it was the King of Thailand's birthday weekend, that's why the regular programming for One31 was pre-empted. They opted to do marathon of their station-produced dramas instead.
I remember the supposed premiere of BFR got delayed by a week last May because of the King's coronation.
Too bad, BL/teen or young adult-oriented series tend to get snubbed in prestigious Thai awards. Last weekend,…
I know. So far, the closest thing to a teen/YA-oriented show that won in Nataraja Awards was "Project S: Side by Side" back in 2017. It won Best Drama (the highest award) and Best Actor for Tor.
I was actually hoping Pluem or Gun would get nominated for "Happy Birthday" and "The Gifted", respectively, coz they're really good in their roles. But at least their shows got nominated for Best Screenplay and Best Visuals, respectively. Who knows, 2019 might finally be the year for GMMTV to be noticed for acting.
Looks a bit overdramatic. But it hurts seeing Lee Thanat getting shot! I guess this is taking the place of Love…
Yes, this is replacing LBF.
It's the first foray of GMMTV into remaking a foreign drama, and I believe they're co-producing this with Change 2561 (same company behind many of GMM25's dramas and Baifern's current One31 drama with Push). So far that's enough reason for me to check out at least the first few episodes of this.
I hope that some acting awards are in the future for this cast.
Too bad, BL/teen or young adult-oriented series tend to get snubbed in prestigious Thai awards. Last weekend, I was in Bangkok and I was able to watch on TV the Nataraja Awards (said to be the most prestigious entertainment award in Thailand). Almost all the nominations in the drama category were dramas aired on Channel 3, Channel 7, and One 31. "Happy Birthday" and "The Gifted" managed to snag one nomination each, but they both lost.
The only realistic shot that this has for now would be the fan-focused awards shows.

OK, I saw GMM25 Thailand following him in IG.
But Mark Prin playing supporting role here?!?!?!

Anyway, an IG post from Nicky:

What's weird though is that I didn't see Marc in a recent IG post of the entire male cast.
