They might have a launch event late this year, the way they did it November last year. I'm crossing my fingers that The Gifted Season 2 is on the works.
Are you referring to AmpGun? They were part of "Room Alone" and "Room Alone 2" (which aired back in 2014 and 2015, respectively), but it's not a full BL series but rather more of an anthology of different college-aged characters. They've got an episode dedicated for them in the first season, then 2 episodes wherein their characters are explored further in the 2nd season.
I've heard from Thai fans that it's not gonna be 2 months but just 2-3 weeks. :)
OK that's great then. I'm just relying on Google translate (and maybe some of their fans are relying on that too haha).
I think Tor's monkhood is already finished. He already has IG photos over the weekend. Really though it'll stretch until August, considering how his stardom has risen coz of Hua Jai Sila.
I'm getting worried. The director for this is also the director of Love Beyond Frontier, and I don't really like…
I think GMMTV is very much guilty of compressing too many characters and arcs in their series.
IMO, they were able to pull off well enough for some series like SOTUS (main couple + 2 potential couples, but they didn't give any closure to Prem-Wad), Room Alone, The Gifted (for the latter 2, they split out episodes to focus on individual character). But for the rest, it was a hodgepodge.
Thanks for sharing this. His parents must be so proud of him. I remember when Tul from Together with Me did the…
I'm a Filipino and a Christian, and I find this practice rather fascinating. To me, it's akin to male Koreans or Singaporeans joining the military for 1-2 years at some point in their young lives.
And timely coz I'm flying to Bangkok this month and I'm half-hoping I can have a glimpse of this Buddhist ceremony during my stay haha.
If it were for a movie, I'd suppose he could just do with prosthetics instead of shaving off his head (and eyebrows), can't he?
White is just being a dutiful Thai Buddhist, as the males are expected to do this at least once in their lives as some sort of passage ritual. And there are a bunch of IG posts showing various snapshots of the ceremony. Also, I think someone mentioned in the Love Sick 3 page that he's bound for temporary monkhood this year anyway.
Anyway, as an aside, he's not alone doing this for 2019 amongst Thai actors. Tor Thanapob (of Hua Jai Sila) and Amp Phuri (of GMMTV's original BL couple AmpGun) just entered monkhood weeks ago. Tor will be out by August, while Amp just got out I believe.
This looks really boring, idk why. but would still give it a try
This is the least viewed trailer amongst the upcoming GMMTV dramas and I guess you're not alone in that sentiment. Anyway, I'm expectant to see how GMMTV will handle a non-Thai Asian drama remake (as I believe it's their first time to do it).
Still watching this because of the 4 leads, and this light fare is a nice counterpoint to ToL which can get intense at times.
But truth be told, I'm kinda wary now as to how "Blacklist" and "Turn Left Turn Right" will turn out coz Dan Worrawech is also directing those. (I think he's a good actor as I've just started watching "Castle of Stars" in Netflix and I've seen the trailer of his upcoming 2 dramas "The Sand Princess" and "Sapai TKO", but he's still got a long way to go as a director.)
She's got the most annoying role in "In Family We Trust", but she managed to hold her own against the veterans (especially in her scenes with Tang, who play her father).
