gonna comment some of the positive things i found in this drama since it's way too negative here. - the characters made sense to me. kanghan and sailom stayed true to their characters the entire time. they had growths but they didn't change completely overnight which is realistic. - ig im in the minority here who thought their chemistry worked for their characters. i was drawn in by the first ep and each ep delivered well for me. - the title is misleading but i didn't care much about it initially (still don't) which could be why i enjoyed this. It's "Heart In The Wind" in thai. - there weren't any significant plot holes imo. each one could be explained if you understood the characters well enough. - every scene had its purpose. there weren't any filler scenes (the ads were p cute) - the parallels were paralleling. loved the callbacks. - perth and chimon took the roles bcs of each other and they seem comfy enough too. I'd like it if they continued. - Sailom was meant to be a repressed teenager, it's not chimon. it's stated in the novel too. he doesn't show much affection bcs That's The Way He Is. I thought it was obvious. - the teenagers were teenagers. they make dumb choices (and sometimes right decisions) but it all makes sense if you remember that they're teenagers. i love their friendships and romances. - the acting was good!! Perth Chimon and the rest of the cast did a good job at it, I find PC's acting to be very natural.
the show's got its flaws but from what i see, the reason many are disappointed is bcs it's not the story they wanted to hear. and i can understand. but the writers did a good job at conveying teenage romance and, most importantly, making teenagers Teenagers. it's a hs romance with complex characters done well and i love that. there's room for improvement but overall I'd say a good show if you can accept it for what it is. I'm the consumer here so i don't think i have right on what the writer should do, bcs it is their story. but what i can is enjoy it if it's right up my alley. It's done many things well and that's why i can overlook the flaws. I enjoyed the ride.
