my review on the trauma code: heroes on call! i binged all 8 episodes today (which was shocking for me lol i haven’t binged a show in a long time!) and here’s what i think as a reader of the webtoon it was adapted from:

- they cut out a lot of things from the webtoon (im currently reading it since a few weeks ago) but they kept in most of the important parts that happened, it was very entertaining as i love a good medical drama and this kept me hooked from start to finish

- the casting for me was on point for the main lead which is dr. baek kang hyuk whomst ju jihoon played and the other supporting characters they were all portrayed well by their respective actors 👌🏽 and JJH did amazingly well on his role as dr. baek he brought him to life and i loved it

- i will say don’t watch this while eating and if you’re sensitive to lots of bloody scenes and seeing pretty detailed operating scenes cause there’s a lot and they looked really real it was hard to believe it’s just a kdrama lol but it may gross ppl out who are weak to that you can just skip those parts if you want

- overall i rated the drama an 8.5 because it balanced well between lighthearted funny scenes with intense hospital scenes and drama, i liked the message it sent out which is that doctors should never give up on their patients no matter how difficult things may get and was very realistic in that aspect with many people in the health care industry that are corrupt and don’t value their patients as much as they do money and power, no unnecessary romance either it was just medical drama and kept the essence of the webtoon, i’m never one to ask for dramas to get a second season but i’d love for this one to get a second part if possible!
