I'm actually kinda late watching this drama. I plan to watch this because of Okada Kenshi, but I'm hold it because…
Imo MIU404 is far superior to miman; Miman has a very "telling instead of showing" kind of story progression making it predictable and not nearly as exciting as the plethora of stories that MIU404 showcases (their stories also contain a lot more emotion and make you feel things). Furthermore, MIU404 touches on more relevant issues in today's society and does a much better job at conveying the 'inner turmoil' of being a police officer than Miman - in all fairness, Miman is about trainees vs MIU with quite experienced officers, so there really is an extent to how smart the trainee officers in Miman can be before it becomes too unrealistic Would probably watch Miman first before MIU to avoid disappointment hahaha
amazing chemistry + omg the soUNDTRACK = the quintessential jdrama to watch. i don't think you could call yourself someone who watches jdramas without watching this one.
i'm not too sure what this video is, but it's actually not episode's 9 preview! the yellow banner in the first half says that episode 8 will be aired 13/09 :)
my god, my laptop short circuited bc their chemistry was so eLECTRIC a badass female protagonist and a male lead who isn't prisoned behind the misogynistic lawyer trope - i couldn't ask for anything more
@my previous comment, for anyone in aus: download raw episodes from bagikuy and subs from ibsm404 tumblr (they have a mega link w all subs!) - was how i got around blocked access to subscene :)
dudes idk what it is about yamaken and his acting but it's so... unfulfilling - he has clearly improved but it's still not natural and kinda off-putting. casting for everyone else is 11/10 sudacchi is always a pleasure to watch and mackenyu has such a great visual for someone tryna run a company
i won't lie, this wasn't my favourite suda masaki work (personally, dele is no.1), and the 'teachings' were lowkey over the top, similar to dorama final cut (which also isn't kame's best work). he does show great versatility in his roles. regardless, the main message of the drama was thoughtfully paced and subsequent episodes showed the significance of connecting w each other and connecting everyone together
this drama is so underrated but so astoundingly good - i was initially deterred by the seemingly bizarre synopsis, thinking how could their be a plot of people deleting some data??? but i'm extremely happy that it turned out almost opposite to what i thought it would be about
Would probably watch Miman first before MIU to avoid disappointment hahaha
