I honestly thought it would be a historical drama which I would have preferred cuz I like historical dramas better that modern dramas but the trailer is giving military academy vibes which was kind of in the middle of historical and modern.

wish might not be a good thing cuz I keep wondering who jang uk is really in love with. mu Deok or naksu. part 2 is going to be a much more complicated love story and less on the political stuffs.

word 2. I despise him as well. I feel like something is off about what he told the male lead (Cheng yi) about his birth parents. the male lead seems to have some kind of connection to the leader of the demon tribe. because in one of the episodes before the war (around ep 7 ) when the female lead was about to get killed and the male lead came to the rescue the demon that wanted to kill the female lead told the male lead that your death will make our lord stronger. Anyways something is definitely wrong with the emperor. I might just be over thinking tho.
