lmaoo , well according to the last life the emepror failed at demoting the crown prince as the current crown prince ascended the throne after the emperor's death. And it also one of the reasons why ML and FL are allies because they need to ensure that it stays the same in this new life ( they need to make sure the crown prince becomes the emperor in the new life). However, it's not clear yet whether or not the emperor is successful at replacing the crown prince as the movie is still ongoing. But in my opinion I don't think he will get to replace him.

I agree he is been unfair however it's not completely right that LC isn't part of the shanguan family cuz his mother (the empress) is from the shanguan family. So having an empress and crown prince that's from their family the shanguan family are pretty much unstoppable because they have 2 really big figures to back them up, actually 3 cuz Li wrong is also related to them through her mother side . And unless there's a very solid and hard evidence to convict them of a crime the emperor can't do nothing about them, which explains why every little chance he gets he wants to demote/ humiliate the crown prince to just a prince and give the title "crown prince" to someone with no connection to the shanguan family because then their influence will be reduced in the court. Also a big part of the emperor always having his guard up against the shanguan family is because the family does have ill intent to ursrup the throne as they don't show respect to the current emperor. let's say that they were indeed influential but also loyal to him (the emperor) he wouldn't have to always have his guard up all the time.

Because LC is part of the shanguan family from his mother side. And the shanguan family pose a threat to the emperor because they've been extremely influential for the past 3 decades and if L, half shanguan family member, ascends the throne with a queen that' s also from the shanguan family then the throne will technically no longer belong to the Li family anymore as they can be easily overthrown by the shaanguan family. I don;t know if it'll make sense to you but I hope it does :)

Before I say this I wear glasses cause I’m like 99.9999% blind but a lot of ppl are complaining about the fl makeup( I think it’s the fl I’m not sure) but I don’t see anything wrong with it probably cause I only see the blurred version of earth but her makeup doesn’t look that white maybe kinda pale but most c dramas especially historical dramas always make their characters look kinda pale and ppl never really point it out so ig this must be that bad for ppl to point it out but I think she looks pretty with the makeup 🤷‍♀️.

Well being bad isn’t having more of an edge to you. And bad can be considered as a synonym to abusive, for example an abusive person is a bad person and a bad person can be considered abusive depending on their crime, so i guess the average person understand that they can be used interchangeably.

Exactly I was so hyped for anle and I had high expectations cause they made us wait for eternity before it aired. Unfortunately it didn’t live up to my expectations. I still love dilraba tho cause her acting was great per usual.
