I'm a nurse from Canada, here it is legal under certain conditions. I think it is one of the most compationnate…
Ok I work in a general hospital too.. we don't have direct euthanasia in my country as a legal act and I am not supportive in using direct euthanasia because I don't trust the law and not all the doctors ... So I want to ask you something... How do we know that a doctor will not use euthanasia and the criteria of euthanasia to kill someone because he wants it to??? No matter the reasons... And how is euthanasia performed in Canada? I mean do the doctor's inject the patients and let them die or it's a different protocol?? And do they have the signed agreement from the patient or not always?? I am really interested to know ππ
Patients have the right to sing documents that state that doctors should let them die under specific conditions...…
I don't know if you read my comment before answering... I was referring to direct euthanasia ... Btw I am from Greece and yes we do have passive euthanasia and personally I work in general hospital with many cancer patient... And yes passive euthanasia is allowed and acceptable but I firmly insist that direct euthanasia is not a MUST.. doctors are humans not gods .. they should not have the tool of euthanasia in their hands... I know that euthanasia is legal in many countries but that does not mean that it's the right thing doctors to do... Patient are suffering I know and everyone of us can be like that in the future... That's why passive euthanasia exist ( in my country - Greece- we don't really use this definition but it's the same anyway...)... Personally I don't trust doctors and any human being to use euthanasia as a merciful act...it's a merciful killing but it's still a killing... You use your hands to inject someone in order to die... Maybe if the law was fair and again I say MAYBE and IF then we may have a different attitude against euthanasia ... Btw the topic of euthanasia is a hard one and discussing it in a online platform is not very accurate but any way...
They are not faithful to the novel so we shouldn't compare the series with the novel π
You asked if they fell in love in the novel... And I replied based on that... π More precisely yes they did fall in love in the novel... Crazy in love... and there is no twin or split personality... But since they don't follow the novel 100% we don't know what will follow...
So as the Drama talk about Euthanasia, what is your take on this matter ? In my country (France) it's illegal…
Patients have the right to sing documents that state that doctors should let them die under specific conditions... For example documents like " if their heart stop doctors must not perform CPR " or like you mention not taking chemo treatment and other similar procedure s... Euthanasia should be a MUST NO for many reasons... We know that there are patients that suffer a lot and it will be better for them to die ( like we say in my country " they need to rest") but no one is the right person ( except the patient) to take this responsibility... Ps: I think Sammon, as a doctor, is a bit optimistic regarding the matter of euthanasia .. that's what I got by reading the novel ...
People sided with Ken last time when I wrote about performing euthanasia...And people brought their emotional…
I work in the field of medicine and believe me these people exist! But since the law is against it there are not many things they can do .... If someday euthanasia becomes legal ( I really hope not) - even under specific conditions - then the gates of hell will open ... Euthanasia could be a merciful act only if people ( doctors) have pure hearts .. well...we don't live in that kind of world !!!
Ps : maybe the expression "pure hearts" is not the right one but I hope you got what I meant
Many people before wanted to know it's GunWasan or WasanGun Okay it's GunWasan . Thank You. I think asking a simple…
They are not following the novel so don't be disappointed by what you will see in the series... Just a friendly advice π personally I was a bit disappointed but as a series is good if you don't compare it to the novel..

Ps: I think Sammon, as a doctor, is a bit optimistic regarding the matter of euthanasia .. that's what I got by reading the novel ...
