If the preview of the last two ep is accurate that means that they will finish season 1 with their separation which is sad but also good because that's the plot of the novel.. we need the sad separation in order for the plot to continue... They get confused because it is not the typical bl ... It's mostly based on the intense gazes of the main characters and the intense music.. Probably not everyone can get the romantic feeling through these gazes... They need more obvious declarations... That's what I have understand... For me it's a bl since the first episode... The vibes are "romance to be" form the start...
