This is a very melodramatic story with lots of twists and drama. In terms of being deeply emotional and defining this complex relationship between mother and child, it delivers. But the revenge plot felt very flimsy and their vindication didn't hit as it should. Men this powerful are not defeated by going to court one time for one minor thing and unravelling a whole plot underneath. That was rushed and really bad.
It is a good interpretation from the cast, but I feel like it's a k-drama for people who don't watch kdramas, and slightly Netflix coded. I see no reason to rewatch it.
