You also gotta consider the fact that she's a woman in her late thirties, which changes things a bit, it's hard to keep waiting, especially if she wants kids, so that's another factor to count in since it's hard after a certain age. Haven't watched that show so I don't know about it. While they are slowly opening up to the westernized beliefs, the "core" of the country are still set in the old beliefs. Their tradition is deeply ingrained in their mindsets. But i'm sure young people nowadays are very different. Regarding celebrities, I think they get married later because of their careers specifically, it's actually common for them to do it After 30. I don't know if it's about their fans/followers, or if it's more the fact that they can use their career as a way of postponing marriage. A fun (not so fun) fact is that usually they become housewives after marriage, so I don't know why they put so much emphasis on higher education and career before if that's gonna be useless later lol
