Completely overrated, her looks are not outstanding enough to call her pleasing to the eye, and her talent is sub-par. She has to be grateful to be a member of Blackpink.
if I don't remember it wrong, I watched ashes of love (my first Chinese drama) in 2020 and have been a yang zi…
I only watch C-dramas of actors I like (either because of talent or because their appearances are memorable. I don't dislike Yang Zi, she may be an adequate actress, but her characters usually get on my nerves, LOL.
Wang Xing Yue has yet to prove that his acting range is not only limited to implacable characters. He has sharp and proportionate facial features (the shape of his eyes is beautiful in particular), so I like watching him - eyecandy is secured. But for me, it's too early to say he's a good actor just because of The Double.
Both aren't natural, but I prefer Wongyoung in appearance because Karina is really a plastic surgery maniac - her predebut photos remind me that ugliness doesn't exist, we are just poor.
I thought there was something off with Song Kang's face, and I've already discovered it by looking at his pre-fame photos. Now he looks like an alien, and even more so without makeup. But it's not surprising because a lot of these so-called good-looking guys are fairly ordinary, and plastic surgery didn't help at all, except to make them look uncanny.
They want to look like East Asians with eagerness. Just by looking at their pre-fame photos, we can easily notice their ethnic features. I don't know if it's funny or sad.

Many of these shows started out well and fell off in the writing of the plot and characters. Inconsistencies that were intended to be clever moments came to nothing.

Till the end of The Moon and The Glory are inconsistent and pretentious C-dramas. They don't even have well-written and constructed characters to tolerate the mediocre plots. Chinese productions are in decline, and it's a pity because I really like their culture.
Till the End of the Moon is one of the worst C-dramas I've seen, inconsistent and cartoonish characters, predictable and boring plot. For the hype it got on its premiere, there is nothing memorable except Luo Yunxi's performance.
Both dramas are overrated. FOF had the potential to be a banger but its director and writer(s) thought they were smarter than they really are. All this pretension for nothing.
The Chinese have great variety in visuals thanks to their ethnicities, but it is unfortunate to see that they are following the formula of men looking like flower boys strictly and not voluntarily.
Almost everyone on the list is overrated in looks and talent. They are lucky to have a fanbase that will support them even if they sell the worst quality music.
There is more diversity in South Korean actresses, compared to South Korean actors (who despite having plastic surgery still look average, some even with weird, uncanny features). There are few South Korean actors with authentic outstanding looks, Even names like Lee Jong Suk or Song Joong Ki have features that remind me of a stereotypical alien...
He continues to have one of the most balanced and attractive faces in East Asia!
I appreciate the visuals/vibes of Hong Kong actors before 2000s. If only China would stop following the flower boy trends from South Korea in particular. In the new generations, there are a LOT of attractive actors with memorable features but from one C-drama to another, they look like manufactured K-pop idols.
South Korean actors really have overrated visuals. LOL. Only few on this list have looks that are not limited to being average (with strange or unncany features such as big ears, uneven lips, distorted noses, ugly eye shape... alien faces to sum it up.). It's a pity that those (both men and women) who have outstanding looks are terrible at acting.
