I didn’t scrolled too much. Just at episode 4. Still kinda mute kid at this point. I will see how it goes. I am alright with no romance or no good romance ending. Just hope her career was a success at some point.

I am at episode 30 now. Need some motivation. I know the ending is abrupt based on the comments below. Can someone provide some spoiler about episode 40 and 41? Is it like extended ending after episode 39 or just some random missing clips?

Rise of Ning was great! I actually prefer Rise of Ning’s plot/story a bit more than Splendid Match. The ML was great too. Give it a try!

Just finished! Great couple. Love their relationship. Kinda like lady boss/ice queen with puppy eyes/green-flag man! Great acting from both ML and FL. So natural!

I just have ONE issue with the SFL! She said “I just realise I am not really a bad person”. Then bye. WTH? She caused so much havoc then wash her hand and byeeee! 👋 Like she didn’t do anything wrong at all. 😑 Makes my blood boil. SML wants to scout her because she is “talented”. In which part? She doesn’t deserve such “happy” ending at all. Grrrrr. I wonder if they did a great job by hiring her for this role. Not sure how versatile is she as an actress but her expression is always “mono and arrogant”. 😒

Anyway, recommended to watch! 🥰

I haven’t watch “We Are All Trying Here” yet. I heard good things about it. I am not really a fan of the FL but if the story/plot is good, I will give it a try!

For me it started off very well and went down the hill. I am more interested in some other dramas I am currently watching. To others, please don’t try to explain to me. Yes, I get it is the greatest romance drama for you guys. This is just my opinion. Everyone have different taste. Happy watching! ✌🏼

I am pretty sure this person is real. Not everyone needs to create fake account to comment something if this is not up to their standard. I just recently start tracking my dramas in MDL as my personal “drama diary” where I can refer to. Last time I just use MDL to comment if I have some opinions. Also, I don’t think this drama currently has any controversy for people to purposely create fake account and hating it. I am quite bored with latest episode of MRN to be honest. That is just my opinion. I also kinda agree with this person. Anyway, will continue watch and hope it gets better again for me. ✌🏼

I know you are just expressing your opinion but I don’t see your point commenting here at all if you are not interested in this type of genre. Not like you can collect points by commenting. That is why so many people here are frying you. 😅 I don’t see any romance tag. So I assume no romance. Planning to watch this soon. Some drama without romance also nice but if you really need romance, you can try Royal Nemesis or Filing for Love. 😉

Yes, I am aware of the viral meme and how everything lead up to her being featured in billboard. The way they put the story together just doesn’t make much sense to me. I really do want to like this drama. I am expecting some disagreement since so many fans here. I am in the group where it is getting slightly boring to me. There are dramas with 12 episodes and manage to nailed it, even the love scenes. I don't think number of episodes is the problem here. Perhaps the story direction. Anyway, I am glad many of you still find this drama still very interesting. I have not completely lost hope yet. Just hope it picks up for me by episode 9. ✌🏼

This drama started off really well, but as it goes on, I'm finding it a little boring. Not much is happening, and by episode 7, things already feel quite repetitive. The villain keeps using the same tactics, and we're stuck in the same rejection and indecision cycle over and over again.

I really wish they would focus more on the FL's career growth. It feels like the drama has lost its direction and is trying to juggle too many things at once. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it feels like it doesn't fully commit to any storyline.

Also, are we done with everyone constantly disrespecting the FL? Nobody seems to give her any respect, yet she's supposedly famous enough to be on billboards. It feels a bit strange and doesn't really make sense to me.

I hope the story picks up soon because I genuinely want to like this drama but judging from the episode 8 preview, it looks like more of the same. I'm honestly dreading it a little and mostly watching just to finish it at this point.

Hopefully episodes 9 and 10 will be better and finally move things forward.

In real life, their age gap is just 3 years apart, 26 and 29. Yes, he does look a bit mature for his age but manly type handsome. Give it a try! If you haven’t watch Rise of Ning yet, watch that first. ☺️

Rise of Ning is great! Personally, I prefer Rise of Ning’s story and plot a little more.

Ending: FL and ML become the new emperor and empress! Wow! I did not expect that! 🤩

Grand Princess and the daughter is soooo evil. I can’t believe the former emperor actually hide their evil deeds even after their death! Wth!!! He definitely has sister-complex. Yikes!

Just finished this drama! Honestly, it started off kinda below average for me, but it got so much better later on. Some dramas start strong then go downhill, but this one was the opposite. Once you get past the first 5 to 6 episodes, it really keeps getting better and better. I almost dropped it during the beginning. 😭

The FL isn’t the super smart or super scheming type like Ming Lan or Rise of Ning’s FL, but she does get smarter as the story goes on. I’d say she’s more bold and brave instead. I also get why some people said the FL couldn’t act, but honestly I only felt that during the crying scene in episode 1 when she was holding the sword. The crying looked a bit awkward there with constant blinking (trying to get the tears to fall). 😭 But after that, her acting actually improved a lot throughout the drama.

I really loved Zhen and Princess Fuqing’s love story too. They were so cute together. Episode 25 was definitely my favourite episode! 😂 The FL’s dad and brother were hilarious there.

The only thing I really didn’t like was the flashbacks. They were sooo confusing and didn’t explain properly how the FL met the ML. The flashback editing was honestly badly done and I had to Google it just to fully understand what happened!

Overall, I really enjoyed it and definitely recommend watching it. You just need to push through the first few episodes first, then it gets really good. And yes, happy ending! 🥰
