I think you are replying to me. You said you worked in banks, if so, once those couples get serious and married, aren’t they shifted to different dept or quit? I know bank have strict rules as well if it is large. Yes, it is frowned upon but how frequent it is? Most bosses in real life are usually married or have a significant age gap with their staff. Are you talking about scandals though? Anyway, this is just a fictional drama. Their romance just started. Eventually I am sure they will change dept or company, etc like how other dramas usually end up with this kinda genre.

Power imbalance makes sense as you said but to be honest, there is a lot drama like CEO/boss with staff romance. Another example is “Love Scout”. I am not sure why you are so annoyed with this particular drama though. Just don’t watch it if this is not your genre. It is fictional anyway, right? Not like a real life documentary. I can feel a lot of angst in your initial comment about waiting for them to get fired, etc. I believe they will eventually work in different dept or company as most other drama’s path for this kinda gengre. 😅
U need to understand corporate rules. I assume you are not working in corporate world or still studying. Office romance is allowed if the company is not against it. I don’t remember they mentioning in this drama that office romance aren’t allowed. Not sure which part is unfit. Lol. Both not married and they did keep it professional at work place with minor flirting only. Not like they did “unboxing” in the office premise. 😅
Everyone watchinging for leads romance, I'm watching for when will leads get fired from their job. They're completely…
It depends on the corporate rules. Some corporate allows work place relationship as long as not married. Once married, one of the couple have to switch dept or quit. Some corporate don’t allow office romance at all. It really depends. If their company allows work place romance, why will they get fired? FL and ML are not married to anyone. They are audit team but so far their cases related to married couple cheating, etc.
Was about to delay watching episode 9 based on the comments here. All about SFL and SML. Luckily I decided to watch anyway. Such cute moments today with FL getting jealous and not to forget their hot unboxing at the end. 😍 I don’t really care about SML and SFL. Their moments are very brief in today’s episode 9. Thank god!
Just finished it. It was fine overall. The FL and ML had good chemistry. The kissing scenes were good too, actually better than One Spring Night, which somehow felt like it was missing something I can’t quite put my finger on. I had a bit of a hard time watching it on BiliBili with a VPN since the resolution was pretty blurry. I watched up to episode 9, then fast forwarded towards the end. It’s kind of funny how the drama gave full closure and happy endings to both the ex husband and ex wife, but the ML and FL’s happy ending was squeezed into the last five minutes and didn’t feel fully wrapped up. They definitely ended up together, but I wish they showed something more, like them having kids of their own. I wasn’t really into the artist romance, so I skipped most of that. Overall though, not a bad watch.
Just finished. Honestly, if this was 12 episodes instead of 16 it would have been better. I liked the first half more than the second. It felt slow at times, super angsty, and some parts did not really make sense. I get that Korea can be conservative, but the parents, especially the FL’s dad, were kind of ridiculous. These are grown adults, yet they act like they can arrange marriages like choosing schools for kids. Lol.
The single parent stigma was also way over the top. The drama treats it like a crime, which is weird because some of other Korean dramas glorify rich or CEO single dads as a total catch. Since this came out in 2019, I really hope this mindset is better by 2026.
Overall, not a bad watch. Chemistry was fine but not intense. The first kiss was disappointing. With all that angst, I expected something more desperate, but the kisses were mostly sweet and a bit underwhelming. People complain about the OST, but I thought it fit the genre.
I wanted to give it a 10, but it is an 8/10 for me. Also yes, happy ending. 😉✌🏼
OMG, this drama is hilarious! Never have I imagine “villains” in other drama can act so unhinged here! Damn funny! This drama is seriously underrated. Love it so far! ❤️🤩
Oh boy, I am so glad I forced myself to watch this. I am hooked now! It is so hilarious!!! This drama is underrated! Park Hi Joon is one of those actor who uses their eyes to act! Don’t need to super animated to express the emotions. I do prefer him in modern dramas. Love all the episodes so far! Highly recommended! I am not a fan of army genre but trust me, this is so good! It might be confusing at first but you will get hold of it by episode 2. I do believe, as the story unfolds, we will understand better the reason he can see “screens”. Perhaps it is a way to cope his past trauma.
And why didn’t that police officer gain super powers he was in that gooey substance too.
If I remembered correctly, only one of the officer went in the contaminated water. That police did have effect (became jelly-like). Not all will have great super powers. Some is like super defective. It is random. Like lottery. It can be great or bad or neutral effect.
Just finished! No one can do better than Eun Bin for this role. This character is perfect for her. Am glad they did not focus on romance much. Just tiny sprinkles. I personally find it awkward. 😬 Everyone did a good job. Love all the characters especially Ro-bin. 🤩
I am at episode 6. Why the sudden kiss. I did not see any romance build up so far and so sudden. Lol. 😅 Not that I am complaining but kinda weird. I did not expect any romance up until now, suddenly a kiss out of blue. Ro Bin is so funny! Especially the part he is immune to the smashing vertical clap. 🤣
Felt like a fairy tale at end and maybe thats what writer desired
Agree with you but if the ending, they maintained as King and Queen, that will be more like a fairy tale to me. I guess it is kinda slight reality check at the end with the whole jobless thingy, back to work, etc.
