Amazing film. Not to be missed. Zhang Yimou weaves his magic again with Gong Li, in another amazing performance, joined by Chen Daoming. The two of them are awesome together, and capture all the nuances of their roles and the story.

This movie just opened here, and I went to see it. It is certainly a diversion from Johnny To regular action movies. I went because I was curious and also because I like the main actors as well as Tang Wei. (She is good in her role, but it is pretty small one. I loved her duet). Overall, I liked the duets, but I did not like the ensemble songs. It was not a great film in my opinion, but just fun.

Unfortunately - Kim Jae Wook declined now. Looks like this production team brought in the newbie idol as a lead instead of him. What a shame. I was looking forward to seeing Kim Jae Wook as a lead.

I need to watch No Tears for the Dead. I don't remember if I saw My GF is an Agent. No Doubt was thought provoking, and I admired Lee Jung-Jin for taking on that role. I thought the world of the twists; But overall, we felt something was missing. I actually watched it iwth a Korean girlfriend, and we both felt the same.
